The amaryllis flower, known as Hippeastrum, is an ornamental plant admired for its striking beauty and was named by the Greeks as amaryllis, meaning “splendor” or “brilliance”. The visual qualities of this flower serve as the source of inspiration for the creation of a ballgown model evening party dress. The visual elements of the amaryllis flower are applied as garment garnishments using embellishment techniques, including embroidered appliqué, corsage, and beading. This study employs a research and development approach using the PPE model, consisting of planning, production, and evaluation stages. The result of this study is the creation of a ball gown model evening party dress complete with garnishments that correspond to the visual characteristics of the amaryllis flower, as validated by several fashion design experts through questionnaires distributed via Google Forms. The findings indicate that the application of amaryllis flower visuals in the dress is generally assessed by respondents as appropriate to highly appropriate to the source of inspiration, particularly in terms of color application and overall design concept. Keywords: amaryllis flower; embellishment technique; evening party dress
