Abstract

Dengan demikian, integrasi sistem pakan berbasis sirkular ekonomi dan IoT terbukti efektif meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan usaha budidaya lele skala UMKM.Abstract: The catfish aquaculture sector holds significant economic potential; however, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) continue to face challenges in production efficiency due to the high cost of conventional feed and limited knowledge in production management. This community engagement program aims to develop BSF maggot-based catfish feed while enhancing the capacity of the Lele Mandiri MSME through the implementation of an innovative maggot farming system and an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automatic fish feeder. The implementation methods included coordination, socialization, training, technical workshops, and field practice involving participants from the Lele Mandiri MSME partner. Evaluation was conducted through direct observation, questionnaire distribution, and productivity analysis. The results indicated an increase in catfish weight from 200 g to 300 g and a 45% reduction in feed costs. Furthermore, community interest in maggot cultivation increased by 90%, and production efficiency improved by 70%, reflecting enhanced economic value and strengthened technological capacity toward sustainable aquaculture.
