Abstract

The development of 3rd-grade students in junior high school is an important phase in the journey toward adulthood, involving physical, emotional, social, and cognitive changes. At this age, children experience rapid physical growth, such as an increase in height and changes in body shape influenced by puberty hormones. Besides physical changes, psychological development is also very noticeable, as children begin to experience rapid mood swings and more complex emotions. They start to search for their identity and try to understand their roles within the family, school, and society. Socially, 9th-grade students become more active in interacting with their peers, forming friendship groups, and learning to manage conflicts as well as cooperation. On the cognitive side, their ability to think abstractly and logically begins to develop, enabling them to understand more complex concepts and solve problems more effectively.
