Abstract

One of the local wisdoms of the Bugis tribe that is still often found in Wajo district is a traditional food that they call Putu Soppa' or Putu Tongka. The objectives of this study were: to describe the profile of a valid local wisdom-based physics supplement book for students of SMAN 5 Wajo; to describe teacher responses to the use of local wisdom-based physics supplement books for students of SMAN 5 Wajo that have been developed; to describe student responses to the use of local wisdom-based physics supplement books for students of SMAN 5 Wajo that have been developed. This study is a development researchs using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research was implemented in class XI IPA 2 of SMAN 5 Wajo. Data collection was carried out through observation/interviews, expert assessments, questionnaires and science literacy tests. Then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that: the developed teaching materials are declared valid with a reliability level of 0.72; the practicality of teaching materials reviewed from the practitioner's response shows that the developed teaching materials are practical with a percentage of 0.90; the effectiveness of the developed teaching materials is reviewed from the learning outcomes of students obtained through learning outcome tests (science literacy tests). A classical percentage of 80.64% or 25 out of 31 students achieved the learning completion criteria was obtained. So, reviewed from the number of students who achieved completion, the teaching materials are declared effective.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to find out the data security system at Graha Pena Makassar. Graha Pena Makassar is also called Fajar Building which was built in 2007. Graha Pena Makassar is an office building that is the main choice for investors for business development. This research was conducted by identifying potential security gaps and existing security infrastructure. This research method is observation, literature study and conducting interviews. The results showed that the data security system implemented by Graha Pena Makassar has not implemented technology or special applications for database security systems. The security system implemented is more on a physical security system.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed the way people interact, communicate, and construct meaning in social contexts. Social media is now more than just a communication tool, but has transformed into a cultural space where individuals can create, duplicate, and negotiate meaning dynamically. The purpose of this research is to analyze how meaning is produced on social media using a postmodern anthropological perspective. The methodology applied is a qualitative approach with descriptive-analytical analysis grounded in literature review and an appreciation of digital cultural phenomena. The research findings reveal that the process of meaning production on social media occurs through symbolic interactions between users, who function as both producers and consumers (prosumers). Meaning itself is not fixed, but rather is formed through a process of encoding by content creators and decoding by audiences, influenced by social backgrounds, culture, and personal experiences. From a postmodern anthropological perspective, reality on social media is fluid, variable, and devoid of a single, absolute truth. The phenomena of simulacra and hyperreality demonstrate that the boundaries between reality and digital representation are often blurred, leading to virtual reality being perceived as superior to actual reality. Furthermore, this study emphasizes the multiplicity of meanings in social media, where a single piece of content can be interpreted differently by many individuals. This suggests that social media functions as a discursive arena that allows for diverse interpretations without any governing authority. In this way, social media can be viewed as a complex cultural space in digital society, where meaning, identity, and reality are constantly created and negotiated.
