Abstract

Thi.s resea.rch a.i.ms to determi.ne the effect of the Tea.ms Ga.mes Tourna.ment Type Coopera.ti.ve lea.rni.ng model on student lea.rni.ng outcomes i.n Ma.thema.ti.cs i.n spa.ti.a.l constructi.on ma.teri.a.l i.n cla.ss V of HKBP Tomua.n Pema.ta.ngsi.a.nta.r Pri.va.te Elementa.ry School. The type of resea.rch used i.n thi.s resea.rch i.s qua.nti.ta.ti.ve resea.rch usi.ng experi.menta.l methods (pre-experi.menta.l desi.gn). Da.ta. a.na.lysi.s i.s qua.nti.ta.ti.ve/sta.ti.sti.ca.l i.n na.ture wi.th the a.i.m of testi.ng predetermi.ned hypotheses. The resea.rch popula.ti.on wa.s i.n cla.ss V of HKBP Tomua.n Pri.va.te Elementa.ry School loca.ted i.n Ea.st Si.a.nta.r Di.stri.ct. The sa.mple i.n thi.s resea.rch wa.s ta.ken from one cla.ss whi.ch wa.s used a.s a. One Group cla.ss so tha.t the sa.mples i.n thi.s resea.rch were a.ll cla.ss V students a.t HKBP Tomua.n Pema.ta.ngsi.a.nta.r Pri.va.te Elementa.ry School, tota.li.ng 23 students. The sa.mpli.ng techni.que i.n thi.s resea.rch i.s a. sa.tura.ted sa.mpli.ng techni.que. The da.ta. collecti.on techni.que i.n thi.s resea.rch uses a. test i.n the form of multi.ple choi.ce questi.ons whi.ch ha.s four choi.ces, na.mely a. b c a.nd d wi.th a. tota.l of 25 questi.ons. The resea.rch results obta.i.ned were tha.t there wa.s a.n i.ncrea.se i.n student lea.rni.ng outcomes, na.mely wi.th a.n a.vera.ge posttest of 86.73 whi.le the pretest wa.s 49.78 wi.th a. hypothesi.s test of 21,930. When compa.red wi.th the posttest score, students experi.enced a.n i.ncrea.se i.n lea.rni.ng outcomes, na.mely 36.95. Thi.s ca.n be seen from the results of hypothesi.s testi.ng where there i.s a.n i.nfluence of the Tea.ms Ga.mes Tourna.ment type coopera.ti.ve lea.rni.ng model on student lea.rni.ng outcomes.
