Abstract

ABSTRAK Remaja Paparan kebisingan knalpot sepeda motor, khususnya RX King 2 Strokes, berpotensi menimbulkan gangguan pendengaran akibat bising (Noise Induced Hearing Loss) apabila terjadi dalam durasi yang lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lama paparan bising knalpot terhadap gangguan pendengaran pada pengendara motor RX King 2 Strokes. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner untuk menilai lama paparan bising dan pemeriksaan audiometri nada murni untuk menilai tingkat gangguan pendengaran pada 30 anggota komunitas RX King 2 Strokes. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian responden telah mengalami gangguan pendengaran, dengan derajat terbanyak berupa tuli ringan. Namun, hasil uji korelasi Spearman menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar ?0,031 dengan nilai p = 0,870, yang menandakan bahwa hubungan antara lama paparan bising knalpot dan gangguan pendengaran bersifat sangat lemah dan tidak signifikan secara statistik. ABSTRACT Exposure to motorcycle exhaust noise, particularly from the RX King 2 Strokes, has the potential to cause noise-induced hearing loss (NIH) if it occurs over a long period. This study aims to determine the relationship between prolonged exposure to exhaust noise and hearing loss in RX King 2 Strokes motorcycle riders. This is an observational, analytical study with a cross-sectional approach. Data were collected through a questionnaire to assess the duration of noise exposure and pure-tone audiometry to assess the level of hearing loss in 30 members of the RX King 2 Strokes community. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman correlation test. The results showed that some respondents had experienced hearing loss, with the most common being mild deafness. However, the Spearman correlation test showed a correlation coefficient of -0.031 with a p-value of 0.870, indicating that the relationship between prolonged exposure to exhaust noise and hearing loss was very weak and not statistically significant.
