Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pemberian minyak lalat tentara hitam (Black Soldier Fly/BSF) dan selenium serta interaksinya terhadap performa produksi broiler. Objek Penelitian yaitu 60 ekor broiler jantan dipelihara selama 35 hari menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial dengan tiga ulangan. Faktor perlakuan terdiri atas minyak lalat tentara hitam (0% dan 1,5%) dan selenium (0 ppm dan 0,3 ppm). Variabel yang diamati meliputi konsumsi pakan, pertambahan bobot badan (PBB), bobot badan final, dan FCR. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA. Apabila terdapat data yang berbeda nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa minyak lalat tentara hitam dan selenium secara nyata (P<0,05) meningkatkan bobot badan final dan Pertumbuhan Bobot Badan (PBB), serta terdapat interaksi antar perlakuan, tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap konsumsi pakan dan Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR). Perlakuan terbaik diperoleh pada kombinasi 1,5% minyak BSF dan 0,3 ppm selenium. Kata Kunci : Broiler, Minyak Lalat Tentara Hitam, Selenium EVALUATION OF THE USE OF BLACK SOLDIER FLY OIL SUPPLEMENTED WITH SELENIUM ANTIOXIDANT IN FEED ON BROILER PRODUCTION PERFORMANCE Abstract             This study aimed to examine the effects of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) oil and selenium supplementation, as well as their interaction, on broiler production performance. The research subjects were 60 male broilers reared for 35 days using a factorial Completely Randomized Design with three replications. The treatment factors consisted of BSF oil (0% and 1.5%) and selenium (0 ppm and 0.3 ppm). Observed variables included feed intake, body weight gain (BWG), final body weight, and feed conversion ratio (FCR). Data were analyzed using ANOVA, and significant differences were further tested using Duncan’s test. The results showed that BSF oil and selenium significantly (P<0.05) increased final body weight and body weight gain, and an interaction between treatments was observed; however, they did not affect feed intake or FCR. The best treatment was the combination of 1.5% BSF oil and 0.3 ppm selenium. Keywords: Broiler, Black Soldier Fly Oil, Selenium
