Early childhood is a critical period for the formation of attitudes, behaviors, and environmental awareness. Prigen, East Java, as a mountainous area, faces potential environmental risks such as soil erosion and landslides if conservation awareness is not instilled from an early age. This community service program aimed to enhance environmental awareness and stimulate motor development among toddlers through planting-based learning activities involving both children and parents. The program employed an educative–participatory approach through hands-on planting activities, family mentoring, and environmental education. Program evaluation was conducted using observation sheets and questionnaires administered to 20 toddlers and 20 parents. The results showed that 80% of toddlers were actively engaged in the planting activities, while 90% of parents demonstrated good to very good understanding of environmental education. From a socio-cultural perspective, 80% of families developed regular plant-care practices at home and actively participated in the community service activities. These findings indicate that planting-based learning is effective as a medium for environmental education and the reinforcement of conservation values from an early age. This program has the potential to be developed as a family-based environmental education model to support disaster mitigation efforts in mountainous areas.ABSTRAKMasa balita merupakan periode emas dalam pembentukan sikap, perilaku, dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Wilayah Prigen, Jawa Timur, yang berada di daerah pegunungan memiliki potensi risiko lingkungan seperti erosi dan tanah longsor apabila kesadaran konservasi tidak ditanamkan sejak dini. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan dan stimulasi perkembangan motorik anak balita melalui pembelajaran menanam yang melibatkan anak dan orang tua. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif melalui praktik langsung menanam, pendampingan keluarga, serta edukasi lingkungan. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan lembar observasi dan kuesioner terhadap 20 anak balita dan 20 orang tua. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa 80% anak terlibat aktif dalam kegiatan menanam, sementara 90% orang tua menunjukkan pemahaman yang baik hingga sangat baik mengenai edukasi lingkungan. Dari aspek sosial budaya, 80% keluarga membiasakan kegiatan merawat tanaman di rumah dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pengabdian. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menanam efektif sebagai sarana edukasi lingkungan dan penguatan nilai konservasi sejak usia dini. Kegiatan ini berpotensi dikembangkan sebagai model pendidikan lingkungan berbasis keluarga dalam upaya mitigasi bencana di wilayah pegunungan.
