Abstract

Student graduation prediction is an important aspect in higher education management which is intended to project students' chances of completing their studies on schedule. Accurate prediction results can support educational institutions in formulating strategic policies to improve the quality of academic services and provide more effective interventions and provide more effective support to students at risk of experiencing delayed graduation. This study applies the Decision Tree algorithm with the help of the RapidMiner application to build a student graduation prediction model, using data such as age, graduation status, and cumulative achievement index as the main variables. The results of the analysis show that the developed model is able to achieve a prediction accuracy level of 96.57%. This finding confirms that data mining techniques have great potential in helping educational institutions identify students who need special attention in order to complete their studies on time. Therefore, the results of this study not only play a role in the development of prediction models in the academic realm, but the results of this study can also be used as an initial basis for subsequent research that focuses on graduation prediction in the higher education environment.

Abstract

At Dermier Shila Clinic, treatment bookings still travel through WhatsApp chats before staff copy every detail by hand into notebooks and daily logs. That routine keeps producing the same headaches: entries go missing, numbers get mistyped, confirmations arrive late, two patients end up booked with the same doctor at once, and payment, scheduling, and notification records never sit in one place. Together these gaps drag down how efficiently the clinic runs and how consistent its service feels. This paper reports on building a web-based booking platform meant to close those gaps by letting customers book on their own, giving the clinic a clearer view of doctor schedules, and folding booking, payment, and notification into a single system. Development followed the Rapid Application Development (RAD) cycle across its four stages: Requirements Planning, User Design, Rapid Construction, and Cutover. Field data came from direct observation, interviews with clinic staff, and a review of related literature, and the platform itself runs on a PHP back end with a MySQL database. Two rounds of testing followed: Black Box Testing to check functional behavior, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to gauge how real users experienced it. The finished platform now handles treatment booking, doctor scheduling, payment, notifications, and customer records inside one web application, with every tested function behaving as intended. Forty-five participants took part in the UAT round, and their responses averaged 89.89 percent, placing the system in the Highly Feasible category. Taken together, these results indicate the platform sharpens day-to-day efficiency, cuts down on recording mistakes and scheduling clashes, and lifts the overall standard of service at Dermier Shila Clinic.
