Abstract

Natural science are lessons that study the natural environment and the accompanying phenomena the human body system it self With the importance of science learning for future students lives. the role of teachers with perfect abilities is needed in providing science learning to students. So it is hoped that the final result will be that students can apply science learning in normal human life. This research aims to examine the influence of using Quizizz media in improving the learning outcomes of class VI students at elementary school at Jember Regency.. This research is in the form of quantitative research carried out using the classroom action research method which was carried out up to cycle II. The research results Indicated a rise in learning outcomes from pre-cycle to cycle I with a success percentage from 20% to 40%. Next, when cycle I was compared with cycle II, the completion percentage increased from 40% to 80%. So it was found from cycle II that there were 8 students who achieved the success percentage and there were 2 students who had not achieved the success percentage. In this research, Quizzizz media has an influence in the world of education so that the assessment or evaluation process in learning runs interactively and happily.

Abstract

  The aim of this exploration is to enhance the learning achievement in science regarding human sensory organs by utilizing the scientific method within the environment of grade IV MI classroom. This exploration aims to investigate whether the implementation of the scientific method can elevate the learning achievement capabilities of students in grade IV MI. The experiment is conducted in the grade IV MI classroom. The entire experiment is divided into two cycles, running from April to May 2024. The research population consists of 25 fourth- grade students, comprising 8 male students and 17 female students. The data collection approach in the experiment involves test techniques, observation, and documentation. The exploration results conclude that the learning achievement of students regarding human sensory organs in grade IV MI in the initial cycle still demonstrates satisfactory achievement, with an average score of 78.6. Sixteen out of 25 students, or 64%, successfully achieve the expected level of individual achievement. Meanwhile, in the subsequent cycle, there is a significant improvement with very good achievement, averaging 91, and twenty-two out of 25 students, or 88%, successfully achieve the expected level of individual achievement. Thus, the conclusion drawn is that the implementation of the scientific approach is capable of enhancing the learning achievement in science regarding human sensory organs in the environment of grade IV MI classroom.

Abstract

Pemahaman terhadap arah mata angin bagi siswa jenjang Sekolah Dasar dinilai penting dan perlu ditanamkan sejak dini. Memiliki pemahaman yang kuat tentang mata angin dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa dalam menjelajahi lingkungan sekitar. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas III SD terhadap materi arah mata angin, dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh serta efektivitas penggunaan metode Treasure Hunt dalam pembelajaran arah mata angin . Menggunakan metode treasure hunt pada pembelajaran ini, dapat mendorong partisipasi aktif dan meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam mehamami materi. Dengan metode ini, siswa melakukan permainan berburu harta karun di luar kelas dengan setiap perjalanan mencari petunjuk menggunakan arah mata angin. Pada usia jenjang SD, siswa lebih menyukai pembelajaran yang berbasis permainan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SD yang berjumlah 26 siswa dalam satu kelas. Prosedur pelaksanaan penelitian, setiap silus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanakan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan tes berupa evaluasi yang diberikan setiap akhir siklus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, prestasi belajar siswa pada siklus I diperoleh nilai ketuntasan belajar 42,3,%, siklus II 100% Melalui hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode Treasure Hunt dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dapat meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap arah mata angin dan denah.
