Abstract

Motivation is the cause, the basic reason for someone's drive to act or the main idea that always plays a role in human behavior. The reason to be more active in working from lecturers in general is because of economic motivation besides worship motivation. PT MK is a shipping company which is also an organization. Successful organizations need employees who will do more than their normal work tasks or employees who will deliver performance that exceeds organizational expectations. In today's dynamic world of work, where more and more tasks are performed in teams and flexibility becomes very critical, organizations need employees who will do OCB. The purpose of this research is to prove the influence or relationship between work motivation and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on employees of PT MK. This research is a cross-sectional study, between independent variables and dependent variables measured at one time or simultaneously. Independent variables: work motivation and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) as bound. The population of this research is all employees of PT MK a shipping company in Semarang, the samples taken were 30 employees. Random sampling technique. Motivation is very closely related to Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with a P value of 0.00. The influence of motivation on OCB of 0.825 or 82.5% means that 82.5% OCB is strongly influenced by motivation and 17.5%
