Utilization of purple sweet potato waste as an alternative natural feed ingredient, storingantioxidants that are beneficial for livestock health. This study aims to determine the effect ofproviding purple sweet potato waste on abdominal fat distribution in KUB chickens. The studywas conducted at Sesetan Farm, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University for 2months in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) of 4 treatments, 4 replications and eachunit divided into 6 chickens. The treatments given were (R0/control), 5% (R1), 10% (R2) and15% (R3) purple sweet potato waste in the ration. The observed variable was abdominal fatdistribution including pad fat, mesenteric fat, ventricular fat and abdominal fat. The study findings indicate that the use of purple sweet potato waste up to 15% in the ration does notaffect abdominal fat distribution in KUB chickens. ABSTRAK Pemanfaatan limbah ubi jalar ungu menjadi alternatif bahan pakan alami, menyimpanzat antioksidan yang bermanfaat bagi kesehatan ternak. Studi ini memiliki tujuan mengetahuipengaruh pemberian limbah ubi jalar ungu terhadap distribusi lemak abdomen pada ayamKUB. Penelitian dilangsungkan pada Farm Sesetan, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Udayanasepanjang 2 bulan secara Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dari 4 perlakuan, 4 ulangan sertatiap-tiap unit terbagi atas 6 ekor ayam. Perlakuan yang diberikan ialah (R0/kontrol), 5% (R1),10% (R2) dan 15% (R3) limbah ubi jalar ungu dalam ransum. Variabel yang diamati adalahdistribusi lemak abdomen meliputi lemak bantalan, lemak mesentium, lemak ventrikulus sertalemak abdomen. Temuan studi mengindikasikan jika penggunaan limbah ubi jalar ungu sampai15% dalam ransum tidak berpengaruh terhadap distribusi lemak abdomen pada ayam KUB.
