Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan pemahaman konsep letak geografis Indonesia pada siswa kelas V SD melalui pemanfaatan media peta interaktif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada sebuah SD negeri dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 28 siswa kelas V. Desain penelitian menggunakan model PTK Kemmis & McTaggart yang terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, tes pemahaman (pretest-posttest), angket respons peserta didik, dan catatan lapangan. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif-deskriptif untuk tes dan angket, serta kualitatif untuk data observasi dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitas belajar dari kategori rendah (rata‑rata skor 45%) menjadi sedang (siklus I: 68%) dan tinggi (siklus II: 85%). Pemahaman konsep siswa (tes) meningkat dari rata‑rata 55 (pra‑tindakan) menjadi 72 (siklus I) dan 86 (siklus II). Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, pemanfaatan media peta interaktif dinyatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan pemahaman siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS materi letak geografis Indonesia. This classroom action research (CAR) aims to improve learning activities and understanding of the concept of Indonesia's geographical location in fifth-grade elementary school students through the use of interactive map media. The research was conducted at a public elementary school in [city name] with 28 fifth-grade students as research subjects. The research design used the Kemmis & McTaggart CAR model consisting of two cycles, each cycle covering planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection instruments included student activity observation sheets, comprehension tests (pretest-posttest), student response questionnaires, and field notes. Data analysis was conducted quantitatively-descriptive for tests and questionnaires, and qualitatively for observation data and field notes. The results of the study showed an increase in learning activities from the low category (average score of 45%) to medium (cycle I: 68%) and high (cycle II: 85%). Students' conceptual understanding (test) increased from an average of 55 (pre-action) to 72 (cycle I) and 86 (cycle II). Based on these findings, the use of interactive maps was found to be effective in enhancing student engagement and understanding in science and science learning on Indonesia's geographic location.
