Abstract

Abstract This study was conducted to determine the relationship of fanaticism and conformity to consumptive behavior in jkt48 fans in Surabaya. This study uses quantitative methods using correlational methods. Sampe in this study were 270 participants with the criteria of men and women aged 12-30 years and fans of JKT48. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Measurement of consumptive behavior data using a scale proposed by Lina & Rosyid (1997). Measurement of conformity scale data using a scale from aspects of Baron & Bryne (2005). Measurement of fanaticism scale data Ismail (2008). The results of multiple regression analysis show that there is a relationship between fanaticism and conformity to consumptive behavior (f value = 3.604 with a significance of 0.000) which means that there is a significant positive relationship, meaning that the three hypotheses of this study are accepted. Based on the results of the study, the authors hope that the research subjects will be able to minimize consumptive behavior by being able to distinguish between needs and desires, and prioritize more important needs so as not to be tempted to buy unnecessary items. Keywords: Fanaticism, Conformity, Consumptive Behavior Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan fanatisme dan konformitas terhadap perilaku konsumtif pada penggemar jkt48 di Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode korelasional. Sampe pada penelitian ini sebanyak 270 partisipan dengan kriteria Pria dan wanita yang berusia 12-30 tahun serta menggemari JKT48. Teknik pengambilan sampe menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengukuran data perilaku konsumtif menggunakan skala yang dikemukakan oleh Lina & Rosyid (1997). Pengukuran data skala konformitas menggunakan skala dari aspek Baron & Bryne (2005). Pengukuran data skala fanatisme Ismail (2008). Hasil analisis regresi bergamda menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara fanatisme dan konformitas terhadap perilaku konsumtif (nilai f=3.604 dengan signifikasi 0,000) yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan, artinya ketiga hipotesis penelitian ini diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penulis berharap subjek penelitian mampu meminimalisir perilaku konsumtif dengan mammpu membedakan antara kebutuhan dan keinginan, serta memprioritaskan kebutuhan yang lebih penting agar tidak tergoda membeli barang yang tidak perlu.
