Abstract

In this era of the 4.0 revolution, technology is rapidly advancing, making it essential for teachers to create learning media that engage students and make learning enjoyable, such as the interactive game-based platform Wordwall, to enhance student learning outcomes. This study aims to improve learning outcomes in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) on the topic of "Seeing Because of Light, Hearing Because of Sound" using the Wordwall interactive game media. The research employed is Classroom Action Research, utilizing two cycles: Cycle I and Cycle II, involving 20 students at SD Inpres Sero as the subjects. The data needed were obtained through observation and tests. The results of this study show that using the Wordwall interactive game media can indeed improve learning outcomes in IPAS. This is evidenced by the students' increasing performance in the IPAS subject in each cycle. This research can assist teachers in improving the quality of education in schools and enhance their competencies in creating learning media. Additionally, teachers can apply the Wordwall interactive game media as an innovative tool in the learning process. The results indicate that in the first cycle, 66% of students achieved mastery, and this percentage increased to 98% in the second cycle. This demonstrates that the implementation of the Wordwall interactive game can significantly enhance the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students.
