Abstract

This research discusses about improving the basic skills of Shooting in basketball games through shooting ball games for students in class XMIA SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. This research uses qualitative research methods in the form of classrooom action research. This research method was chosen because it provides an overview of student behavior during teaching and learning activities. The result of this study is an increase in the basic skills of shooting basketball through the game of tempak balls by using tools to give a stimulus effect on the direction of the eye's view so that it can automatically focus more. In this study conducted with two cycles. Students in terms of shooting experienced good progress from the pre-cycle only obtained an average score of 5.87, increased to 7.43 at the end of cycle I and increased to 9.71 at the end of cycle II.

Abstract

Developing an integrated agricultural system based on local potential is an effective strategy for addressing the challenges of efficiency, sustainability, and food security in rural areas. Dayun Village in Siak Regency boasts diverse potential, including underutilized agricultural land, fish ponds, cattle ranches, and hydroponic installations. Through the University of Riau's Community Service Program (KKN), the village government and community collaborated to design and implement an integrated agricultural system that integrates the agriculture, fisheries, livestock, and horticulture sectors. The approach used was participatory and transformative, starting with identifying potential and needs, planning activities, implementing activities such as spreading gourami seeds, planting productive trees (MPTS), and reactivating hydroponic installations, and conducting community survey-based evaluations. The results of the activities demonstrated increased community participation, understanding of the integrated agricultural system, and improved ecological and economic awareness. This activity demonstrates that cross-sector collaboration and optimizing local potential can strengthen the village economy and sustainably secure food security.
