Abstract

This research aims to develop ABAYA (Ayo Belajar Budaya), an interactive learning media based on Canva to improve fourth-grade students’ interest in IPAS learning at SDN 2 Padokan. The development used the ADDIE model through five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The media was validated by experts and tested in both limited and field trials. Student and teacher responses showed high practicality (89% and 97% respectively). The effectiveness was measured through pre- and post-interest questionnaires, showing an increase from 68.4% to 86%. A paired sample t-test indicated a significant improvement (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05). The results suggest that ABAYA is feasible and effective to support IPAS learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Pengembangan media Pop-Up Book materi bagian tubuh tumbuhan merupakan salah satu alat untuk membantu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Kebutuhan penggunaan media yang menarik menjadi alasan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui kelayakan media, kepraktisan penggunaan media, dan keefektifan media. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D), dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book kelas IV berdasarkan hasil validasi media diperoleh skor 99% dan hasil validasi materi diperoleh skor 98%. Sedangkan data respon guru diperoleh skor 96% dan repon siswa diperoleh skor 82,1%”. Dan hasil tingkatan motivasi belajar siswa dilihat berdasarkan Sig.(2-tailed) yang mendapatkan 0,000<0,005, dapat dikatakan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Ada peningkatan yang signifikan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media sebesar 15,37 lebih besar dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 8,84. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book BATUTA materi bagian tubuh tumbuhan kelas IV SDN 1 Kadipiro efektif dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan dapat mengubah konsep abstrak menjadi lebih konkret.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the feasibility of developing a Microsoft PowerPoint-based interactive media product for the application of the Pancasila principles (PASILA) in Pancasila Education learning for second-grade students at Banyuraden Public Elementary School (2) the practicality of the PASILA product (3) the effectiveness of PASILA media in Pancasila Education learning for second-grade students at Banyuraden Public Elementary School. The research was conducted at Banyuraden Public Elementary School. The subjects were second-grade students, and the objects were the students' learning outcomes in Pancasila Education. This research was a development research (R&D) using the Borg and Gall method, modified from Sugiyono's, and consisted of 9 stages. The results of the PASILA media development research are as follows: (1) the development product was declared suitable for use with a percentage of media experts of 85.6% and material experts of 87%. (2) the development of Pasila interactive media is practically used in learning with a student response of 80% and a teacher response of 81.3%. (3) the development of Pasila interactive media is effective in improving student learning, as seen from the increase in the average score of 32.7 and the T-test with a sig. value of 0.001. Thus, it can be concluded that the Pasila interactive learning media created is suitable, practical, and effective for use in improving student learning in grade II Pancasila Education
