Abstract

This research was conducted at RA Ummul Quro Wijaya in Percut Sei Tuan District. This research discusses the role of Hajj simulation activities in shaping the religious values of early chilhood. This research aims to determine the role of the Hajj simulation activity on children’s religious values at RA Ummul Quro Wijaya. This research uses descriptive qualitative research involving two teachers. Data was collected thru interviews, observations, and documents. The data was analyzed qualitatively thru data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the positive impacts observed from this Hajj simulation activity are that children are able to learn about the fifth pillar of Islam, children are able to perform the pillars of Hajj, children are able to learn about religion from an early age, and this will accustom children to doing good deeds. The Hajj ritual activity in shaping religious values in children is also influenced by supporting and hindering factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pergeseran bahasa jurnalistik, khususnya pergeseran signifikan dari media cetak tradisional pada media online Kompas.id ke platform berita daring pada media surat kabar Harian Kompas. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode analisis perbandingan data, dianalisis untuk mengetahui pergeseran register bahasa jurnalistik diantaranya frekuensi dan jenis leksikon, struktur sintaksis dan tingkat formalitas/gaya penyajian dalam kedua jenis media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pergeseran register yang jelas. Berita daring cenderung menggunakan register yang lebih informal, interaktif, dan ringkas, ditandai dengan: (1) penggunaan judul dan subjudul yang lebih menarik (klik-bait), (2) kalimat yang lebih pendek dan sederhana, dan (3) integrasi leksikon yang lebih dekat dengan bahasa percakapan atau bahasa media sosial untuk membangun kedekatan (Tenor) dengan pembaca. Sebaliknya, berita cetak mempertahankan register yang lebih formal, komprehensif, dan struktur sintaksis yang lebih kompleks, mencerminkan mode komunikasi yang bersifat satu arah dan otoritatif. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi peneliti, pendidik dan praktisi untuk mengetahui pergeseran  register dalam bahasa jurnalistik

Abstract

This study aims to explore slang in the TikTok comment column on the Inara Rusli affair case through a philosophy of language perspective in order to explore the correlation with the mastery of Indonesian language users' understanding. This research combines content analysis and qualitative descriptive methods, examining forms of linguistic innovation in the form of abbreviations, acronyms, loanwords, modifications, and puns currently developing in cyberspace, particularly digital. This research is grounded in the ideas of Ludwing Wittgenstein, J.L. Austin, and John Searle. These include the theory of meaning is use and speech act theory, which discusses how language meaning is determined by its use in social practice, as well as several secondary sources, including articles and books. The results of this study reveal that the transformation of slang on TikTok is not only a typical expression of the spontaneity of the younger generation but also represents a new perspective on thinking and communicating in the digital age. Philosophically, this phenomenon also reflects that the breadth of vocabulary reflects the breadth of human thought horizons, so that meaning is not only the result of linguistic structures but also a social construction that exists within user communities. Therefore, reflective awareness is needed to balance digital language creativity with formal vocabulary mastery so that communication in the digital age is meaningful and responsible.

Abstract

Billboards are a promotional medium widely used by businesses. Billboards serve as a medium for conveying information to the public, but the messages they convey often contain spelling errors. The purpose of this study is to identify the types of language errors found on billboards in Tembung Village, Deli Serdang Regency. The data source for this study was billboards in Tembung Village, Deli Serdang Regency. The method used for data collection was qualitative descriptive analysis. The research instrument was documentation. The techniques used to analyze the data included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study reveal spelling errors, including the use of letters, punctuation, word spelling, and loanwords in the text on billboards in Tembung Village, Deli Serdang Regency.
