Abstract

Tembakau Madura mempunyai rasa serta aroma yang khas dan spesifik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemangkasan tembakau setelah panen dan jarak tanam kacang tanah dalam tumpangsari terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tembakau dan kacang tanah, yang dilakukan di Desa Lobah Kecamatan Pademawu Kabupaten Pamekasan, dimulai sejak bulan September sampai November 2009. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) menggunakan faktor tunggal, diulang 3 kali dengan uji BNT dengan taraf 5%. Perlakuan terdiri atas 2 faktor yaitu: Pertama jarak tanam kacang tanah yang terdiri dari 2 taraf yaitu: A1 = jarak tanam kacang tanah 20 × 20 cm, A2 = jarak tanam kacang tanah 30 × 20 cm, Kedua setelah panen tanaman tembakau dengan perlakuan pemangkasan dengan terdiri dari 4 taraf: B1 = Pangkasan 15, B2 = Pangkasan 20, B3 = Pangkasan 30, B4 = Tanpa pemangkasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pemangkasan batang tanaman tembakau setelah panen (B2) tinggi 20 cm (A1) jarak tanam 20 × 20 cm cenderung memberikan memberikan nilai tertinggi terhadap luas daun sehingga berpengaruh terhadap bobot basah tanaman tembakau. Perlakuan pemangkasan dengan tanpa pemangkasan B4 pada umur 4 MST dan jarak tanam 30 × 20 memberikan nilai tertinggi terhadap jumlah tunas tanaman tembakau. Kata kunci: tembakau madura, tumpangsari, pemangkasan dan jarak tanam. AbstractsMadura Tobacco has a distinctive flavor and aroma and specific. This study aims to determine the influence of tobacco after harvest pruning and plant spacing on peanut intercropping on growth and yield of tobacco and peanuts, which is done in the Village District Lobah Pademawu Pamekasan District, starting from September to November 2009. Research using randomized block design using a single factor, repeated 3 times with LSD with a level 5%. Treatment are consists of 2 factors: First peanut spacing consisting of 2 levels: A1 = peanut spacing 20 × 20 cm, A2 = spacing of 30 × 20 cm peanuts, two after the harvest of tobacco plants by pruning treatment consisted of 4 levels: B1 = clipping 15, B2 = clipiing 20, B3 = clipping 30, B4 = without pruning. The results showed Trimming tobacco plant stems after harvest (B2) height 20 cm (A1) spacing of 20 × 20 cm tend to provide the highest value of leaf area and therefore contributes to the wet weight of tobacco plants. Treatment of pruning with no pruning at age 4 B4 MST and spacing of 30 × 20 gives the highest value of total tobacco plant shoots. Keywords: tobacco madura, intercropping, pruning and plant spacing.

Abstract

The  aim of this research was to know the effect phosphate dosage on a regosol soil to peanut variety growth and yield.  The research was conducted in peanut field.  It used a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) ordered faktorially and consisted of two faktor with three replication. The first faktor was the fertilizer dosage of phosphorus of 0, 125, 250 and 325 kg ha-1 of SP36 respectively.  The second faktor was the peanut variety of genol and bima variety.  The result showed that amount of phosphorus influence to growth of peanut variety, especially:  the amount of branches and leaves (8, 11 weeks after planting), dry matter (dm) of leaves, branch and all plant, dry matter of pod per plant. The phosphate dosage of 325 kg ha-1of SP36 result the best of growth and yield (dm of pod per plant) peanut.  The genol variety of peanut have the best of amount of branch, leaves, dm leaves, branch and all plant, percentase of  flowers to pod, weigth of 100 seeds. The bima variety is only the best to amount of seed per pod and per plant.

Abstract

Setiap tumbuhan/tanaman memiliki habitus dan karakter tersendiri dalam lingkungan tumbuh di mana tumbuhan/tanaman tersebut berada. Sehingga perbedaan kondisi lingkungan tersebut dimungkinkan timbulnya suatu penciria tertentu.  Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahu habitus dan pencirian tanaman cabe jamu madura.  Penelitian bersifat diskriptif, yang mengamati sifat tanaman dalam pertumbuhan dalam lingkungannya dan ciri-ciri yang terdapat pada tanaman tersebut. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, ternyata pertumbuhan (habitus) cabe jamu spesifik madura memanjat pepohonan, dan merambat dibebatuan/hamparan tanah.  Pencirian lain tanaman ini, ialah: akar dibedakan akar dalam tanah dan akar rekat (pada permukaan tanah/batu/pohon.  Daun dibedakan, daun pada  sulur cacing/awal pertumbuhan dari biji, berhelai daun kecil dengan lekukan pangkal daun menjorok ke dalam, sedang helai daun pada cabang produktif (sulur plagiotrop) lebih lebar dengan lekukan pangkal daun agak tumpul dan tidak semetri, permukaan daun halus/licin, ujung runcing, tepi lurus melengkung tidak bergerigi.  Bentuk bunga dalam bulir dan buah bundar lonjong mengecil ke atas, di dalamnya terdapat sejumlah biji dan terasa pedas (senyawa piperin).

Abstract

An experiment to know the effect of plant row and the defoliation of maize leave to the yield of maize, growth and the yield of peanut was conducted in peanut field, socah district, Bangkalan. A 2x4 factorial with three replications was arranged in split plot design.  The first factor was plant row of design, i.e. single and double row of plant. The second factor was the defoliation of maize leave, i.e. 0% (the control), 30%, 40% and 50% of the defoliation of maize leave. Result of the experiment indicated that the defoliation of maize leave at 40% and 50% reduced the yield 38,70% and 39,40% of dry weigth of plant, 6,80% and 15,10% of 100 seed weigth.  The interaction treatment only gave significant effect in the maize-ear dry weigth; defoliation of maize leave very reduce the maize-ear dry weigth, especially in the double-row of plant. Defoliation of maize leave effect growth, component of yield and yield of peanut.  The row plant design effect to the leave area, component of yield and yield except to weigth of 100 seed. The double row of plant compare to single row of plant have dry weigth of pod, sum of pod, sum of seed and dry weigth of seed plant significant.  Increment of defoliation of maize leave significant to increase sum of branch, plant dry weigth, sum of leave, pod dry weigth, sum of pod, sum and dry weigth of seed of plant. The defoliation of maize leave until 40% are the best to tolerance to possible to yield optimum, especially in the  double row of plant.
