<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the effect of work stress, workload, rewards, and punishments on employee performance at the North Labuhan Batu Regency Environmental Agency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study was all employees of the North Labuhan Batu Regency Environmental Agency, with a sample size of 50 respondents determined using saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire based on the Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing was conducted through partial testing (t-test), simultaneous testing (F-test), and analysis of the coefficient of determination (R²). The results showed that, partially, work stress and workload had a negative and significant effect on employee performance, while rewards and punishments had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, work stress, workload, rewards, and punishments had a significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²) value of 0.806 indicates that 80.6% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by these four variables, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside this study. This study is expected to provide practical contributions to agencies in improving employee performance through proper stress and workload management and the implementation of a fair and consistent reward and punishment system.]]>
