Abstract

Literature review research on strategies to create quality managers through talent management, job enrichment, and assessment is a scientific literature article in the scope of human resource management science. The purpose of writing this literature article is to create a hypothesis related to the influence between variables which can later be used for further research in the scope of human resource management. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique uses literature studies. The data used in this descriptive qualitative approach comes from previous research that is relevant to this research and is sourced from academic online media such as the Scopus Elsevier Journal, Emerald, Sage, WoS, Sinta Journal, DOAJ, EBSCO, Google Scholar, and digital reference books. The results of this literature review research are: 1) Talent Management plays a role in Creating Quality Managers; 2) Job Enrichment plays a role in Creating Quality Managers; and 3) Assessment plays a role in Creating Quality Managers.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to investigate the interplay between mindset, family environment, and social media in influencing the interest of North Sumatra housewives in entrepreneurship. The results of this study, based on the partial hypothesis, stated that the housewives' and family environment mindset in entrepreneurship had a positive and significant effect on increasing entrepreneurial motivation, and these two variables affected the entrepreneurial interest of North Sumatra housewives. Simultaneously, the housewives' and family environment mindset in entrepreneurship, as well as the use of social media for business had a positive and significant effect on North Sumatra housewives’ interest in entrepreneurship through the variable of increasing entrepreneurial motivation. In Islamic perspective, the role of housewives, or women who choose to focus on their domestic responsibilities, is highly respected and valued. Islamic places a significant emphasis on the family unit and recognizes the important roles that both men and women play within it. The Imlication of research this research contributes to a more nuanced understanding of the complex dynamics involved in women's entrepreneurship in a specific cultural and regional context.

Abstract

Prostate disease is a significant health concern affecting men, particularly those over 35 years old. This community service activity aimed to increase knowledge and awareness about prostate disease among the congregation of GMI Manna Helvetia Medan through health education. The methods included educational presentations, motivational sessions, and question-and-answer discussions. The activity was attended by 45 participants aged 35-70 years. Results showed improved participant understanding of prostate disease symptoms, risk factors, and the importance of early detection. About 70% of participants committed to undergo prostate examination within the next 6 months. The educational approach through church community proved effective in delivering sensitive health information and raising awareness about the importance of regular check-ups.

Abstract

This Community Service Program aims to improve the competitiveness of MSMEs in Desa Baru, Pancur Batu District through digital marketing training and accounting digitalization. This training equips participants with the skills to utilize online platforms and social media in product marketing, as well as using digital accounting software for more efficient and accurate financial management. The results of this program show an increase in participants' understanding of the use of digital technology in managing their businesses, which has a positive impact on operational efficiency and increasing market reach. MSMEs in this village are now better prepared to adapt to technological developments and the ever-growing digital market.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the Effect of Motivation, Career Path and Work Discipline on the Performance of Employees of the Communication and Information Agency (DISKOMINFO) of Medan City. The research sample was 45 respondents. This research was conducted using quantitative research methods. The results showed that motivation, career path and work discipline In this study the data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis which showed that partial motivation did not have a significant effect on employee performance at the Medan City DISKOMINFO Office, the career path partially had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Medan City DISKOMINFO Office, Work discipline partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Medan City DISKOMINFO Office. The hypothesis testing simultaneously shows that motivation, career path and work discipline together have a significant effect on employee performance at the Medan City DISKOMINFO Office with a significant probability of < 0.05 each and has an influence of 0.632 (63.2%).

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the Influence of Service Quality, Image, Location, and Promotion of Tourist Destinations on Visitor Satisfaction at Taman Wisata Iman Sitinjo in Dairi Regency. This type of research uses quantitative research. The research sample was 300 people. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression analysis. The study's results indicate that service quality partially affects visitor satisfaction at Taman Wisata Iman Sitinjo. Image partially affects visitor satisfaction at Taman Wisata Iman Sitinjo. Location partially affects visitor satisfaction at Taman Wisata Iman Sitinjo. Tourist destination promotion partially affects visitor satisfaction at Taman Wisata Iman Sitinjo. Service quality, Image, Location, and tourist destination promotion simultaneously affect visitor satisfaction at Taman Wisata Iman Sitinjo.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyse the effect of employee engagement, organisational inclusiveness, and collaboration on employee loyalty at the Medan City Human Resources Staffing and Development Agency. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive research method. The sample in this study were all employees of the Civil Service Agency and Human Resources Development of Medan City, totalling 67 employees because of the small sample size, the authors used the saturated sampling technique. Based on the results of the t hypothesis test, it can be concluded that employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty, organisational inclusiveness has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty, collaboration has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. Based on the results of the F hypothesis test, it can be concluded that employee engagement, organisational inclusiveness, and collaboration simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination analysis, the Adjusted R Square is 0.685, which means that the employee loyalty variable can be explained by the employee engagement, organisational inclusiveness, and collaboration variables in this study by 68.5%, while the remaining 31.5% is other variables or factors.

Abstract

Lingkungan VIII, Babura Village, Medan Baru District consists of six sub-districts in Medan Baru District. Lingkungan VIII is one of the wards in Babura Village out of 13 wards in this subdistrict. The Community Service Team (PKM) provides enlightenment to mothers in order to increase their income. In general, mothers in the neighborhood live at home and therefore the PKM Team provides a way to increase their income. The aim of this PKM is to train mothers to do business or entrepreneurship and motivate mothers to become entrepreneurs. Mothers are expected to have creative ideas by being able to process various preparations using cheap basic ingredients, such as bananas, cassava and the modern cake business. The results of this processing are used as an idea to be used as an opportunity for entrepreneurship to increase household income.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk menguji dan menganalisis Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Etikal, Komitmen Organisasi, Organizational Citizenship  Behaviour (Ocb) Dan Kepuasan Kerja  Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Pada Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum Tirtanadi Provinsi Sumatera Utara Cabang Tuasan Medan Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai pada Perusahaan Air Minum Tirtanadi Provinsi Sumatera Utara Cabang Tuasan Medan. Penetapan sampel dengan sampel jenuh dengan jumlah 90 orang pegawai. Analisis data regresi linier berganda.
