Abstract

The management of social character education in non-formal education plays a strategic role in shaping students’ social attitudes, leadership, and civic participation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of social character education management in the Duta Pelajar Competition organized by Karang Taruna of Karawang Regency in 2025. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. The research subjects consisted of 100 student participants from senior high schools (SMA/SMK/MA/SLB) and Karang Taruna administrators. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with data validity ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that social character education was managed systematically through the functions of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling (POAC). The social character values developed include social care, responsibility, cooperation, tolerance, leadership, social communication, and inclusivity. These findings confirm that youth activities managed through an educational management approach are effective in strengthening students’ social character and are relevant to Karang Taruna policies as regulated by the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Abstract

This study aims to examines the evaluation of education and training programs aimed at enhancing civil servants’ managerial competence using the Kirkpatrick Model. A qualitative approach was employed, using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation as data collection techniques. The data were analyzed through thematic analysis to identify key patterns and findings. The results indicate that the training program achieved positive outcomes at the reaction and learning levels, where participants demonstrated increased knowledge, analytical skills, and improved perceptions of the training. However, the effectiveness decreased at the behavior and results levels, as the application of learning in the workplace was not consistent and organizational impacts were not systematically measured. These findings suggest that while training programs are effective in improving individual competencies, their long-term success depends on organizational support and structured evaluation systems. Strengthening post-training strategies and evaluation mechanisms is essential to ensure sustainable impacts of training programs in the public sector.

Abstract

Modern business practices face challenges in maintaining a balance between profit orientation and ethical values, thus requiring an approach capable of integrating moral aspects into corporate management. From an Islamic perspective, business ethics not only serves as a normative guideline but also as an operational foundation that regulates economic behavior as a whole. This study aims to analyze the application of Islamic business ethics in corporate management through sharia principles at NU Mart Karawang. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study type, with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, in order to systematically interpret the findings. The results show that the application of Islamic business ethics has been realized in operational practices through the values of honesty, fairness, and responsibility, and is supported by the company's social orientation. However, this implementation has not yet been fully integrated into a formal and structured management system. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of Islamic business ethics at NU Mart Karawang has been running substantively in practice, but still requires strengthening in aspects of the management system to be more structured and sustainable. The implications of this study emphasize strengthening sharia-based management systems through clear SOPs and structured supervision, so that ethical values can be implemented consistently and support sustainable business practices.

Abstract

Bullying masih menjadi masalah serius di dunia pendidikan karena berdampak negatif terhadap perkembangan psikologis, sosial, dan akademik anak. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membangun kesadaran anti bullying pada anak sejak dini melalui program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) STIT Rakeyan Santang di Rawamerta. Mitra kegiatan adalah SDN Balongsari 1 dengan peserta 40 siswa kelas rendah dan PAUD Al Hasnah dengan 13 anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan berupa sosialisasi melalui pemutaran video dan story telling di SD, serta mendongeng di PAUD. Monitoring dilakukan dengan observasi, sedangkan evaluasi menggunakan angket sederhana kepada guru dan analisis kemampuan anak menyebutkan contoh bullying. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan: di SD, pemahaman anak meningkat dari 27% sebelum kegiatan menjadi 73% setelah kegiatan; sementara di PAUD meningkat dari 13% menjadi 60%. Kegiatan ini juga berkontribusi pada peningkatan softskill anak, khususnya empati, keberanian berbicara, dan interaksi positif.

Abstract

Pendidikan dasar Islam memiliki tanggung jawab untuk memberikan layanan pendidikan yang inklusif bagi seluruh peserta didik, termasuk siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Kehadiran siswa dengan karakteristik belajar yang beragam menuntut sekolah untuk memiliki kebijakan internal yang mampu mengatur proses pendidikan secara adaptif dan responsif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan internal sekolah dalam penanganan siswa berkebutuhan khusus di SDIT Kasih Ibu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, serta orang tua siswa sebagai informan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan internal sekolah dilakukan melalui tiga aspek utama, yaitu perumusan kebijakan sekolah yang mendukung layanan pendidikan bagi siswa berkebutuhan khusus, peran guru dalam menyesuaikan strategi pembelajaran di kelas, serta dukungan kerja sama antara sekolah dan orang tua dalam memantau perkembangan belajar siswa. Praktik tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan internal sekolah tidak hanya bersifat administratif, tetapi juga menjadi pedoman operasional dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya penguatan kebijakan sekolah yang adaptif serta peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam mendukung praktik pendidikan yang inklusif di lingkungan sekolah dasar Islam.
