Abstract

Marketplace is one of the fastest growing digital innovations in the current technological era, which offers increased effectiveness and efficiency in product and service transactions. In the children's equipment and toy rental sector, it has the potential to help connect service providers and renters practically. However, the current rental process still faces several challenges, including manual procedures, lack of complete information, and low transaction efficiency, all of which hinder the rental experience and reduce user satisfaction. Therefore, it is important to design the UI/UX of a marketplace application that meets user needs and achieves a high level of usability. This study aims to design the UI/UX of the Kiddy Rent application, a marketplace specifically created for renting children's equipment and toys, using the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach to ensure that the final solution is tailored to user needs. The UCD stages applied include Understanding the Context of Use, Specifying User Requirements, Producing Design Solutions, and Evaluating Against Requirements. The resulting prototype was evaluated using two methods, namely Heuristic Evaluation and Usability Testing based on the ISO 9241-11 standard, by applying the System Usability Scale (SUS) to measure satisfaction. The evaluation results show that the application obtained a SUS score of 85.5, which is categorized as "Excellent", and entered the B grade with an acceptance level of "Acceptable". These findings indicate that the developed design not only meets user expectations but also has strong potential to provide an effective, efficient, and satisfying experience in the digital rental process.

Abstract

This bibliometric study aims to chart trends, thematic foci, and collaboration networks of fake-news research in Indonesia, to uncover methodological and regulatory gaps hindering hoax mitigation, and to formulate evidence-based policy agendas. Data were harvested from Lens.org on 9 May 2025 using the query “fake news” AND “Indonesia”. The initial 846 records were screened for document type and duplicates, yielding 753 publications. Performance indicators (h-index, citations, open-access status) and science-mapping techniques (co-word, co-authorship, temporal overlays) were applied via Lens.org analytic tools. Findings reveal three publication waves—a formative period (2008-2014), an electoral surge (2015-2019), and a pandemic spike (2020-2024). The corpus reports an h-index of 42, roughly 7 500 citations, and 71 % open-access availability. Political misinformation and health-related disinformation dominate the discourse, while methodological evolution from bag-of-words classifiers to transformer architectures is still constrained by small, single-modal datasets, limiting cross-domain accuracy. Collaboration networks are led by Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and BINUS University, with international co-authorship accounting for only 14 % of outputs. Persistently low digital literacy and overly broad anti-hoax regulations generate a journalistic chilling effect. Strategic recommendations include creating a CC-BY multimodal national corpus of at least 100 000 annotated items, deploying real-time AI moderation through the KominfoAId initiative, implementing sustained train-the-trainer literacy programmes for teachers, enacting a rights-based Digital Rights Bill, and conducting annual longitudinal surveys across 34 provinces to track the societal impact of hoaxes.

Abstract

Edge computing devices are increasingly tasked with performing artificial intelligence inference under strict constraints on processing capacity and power consumption. This study evaluates magnitude-based weight pruning and dynamic quantization as practical model compression techniques for energy-efficient edge AI deployment. MobileNetV2, pretrained on ImageNet, was adapted to the CIFAR-10 classification task and compressed under three configurations: 40% L1 unstructured pruning followed by recovery fine-tuning (Prune40), dynamic INT8 post-training quantization (QuantINT8), and a sequential combination of both (Prune+Quant). All experiments were executed on a physical Intel N150 mini PC with a thermal design power of 6 watts, using PyTorch 2.1 in CPU-only inference mode. Results show that Prune40 reduced inference latency by 17.9% while simultaneously improving classification accuracy by 1.04 percentage points, attributed to the implicit regularisation effect of sparse weight removal and recovery fine-tuning. QuantINT8 yielded moderate latency savings (6.6%) with negligible accuracy loss. The combined pipeline achieved the lowest absolute latency at a marginal energy overhead. These findings establish magnitude pruning with recovery training as the most effective single-step compression strategy for low-power x86 edge platforms.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of Fiber to the Home (FTTH) infrastructure has increased the need for network monitoring systems capable of providing timely and accurate information about network conditions. At AFF NET, monitoring activities were previously conducted through manual inspections and customer reports, resulting in delays in fault identification. This study aims to implement a Web Geographic Information System (WebGIS) to provide interactive spatial visualization for monitoring FTTH network infrastructure. The system was developed using the Waterfall methodology with ReactJS as the frontend framework, Leaflet for interactive map visualization, Golang as the backend service, and Zabbix as the network monitoring platform. Monitoring data collected through the Zabbix API were integrated with geographic coordinates to display the location and operational status of network devices on a real-time digital map. Functional testing using the Black Box method achieved a 100% success rate, while User Acceptance Testing (UAT) obtained an average score of 87.50%, indicating excellent user acceptance. The results demonstrate that the proposed WebGIS improves the effectiveness of FTTH infrastructure monitoring by providing interactive spatial information, accelerating fault identification, and supporting more efficient network troubleshooting.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize network management at SMKN 3 Buduran through the implementation of Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Quality of Service (QoS) using the Queue Tree method, and TLS Host-based firewall filtering on MikroTik devices. The main problems identified in the school network include high delay and jitter values, uneven bandwidth distribution, and suboptimal network traffic management. This research applied the PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize) method with network simulation implemented using Cisco Packet Tracer and VirtualBox. The implementation stage involved configuring OSPF routing to support automatic rerouting processes, applying QoS for bandwidth management, and implementing firewall filtering to restrict access to certain websites. Network performance testing was conducted using Quality of Service (QoS) parameters, namely delay, jitter, and packet loss. The results showed that the implementation of OSPF and QoS significantly improved network performance. The average delay decreased from 78 ms to 59 ms, while the maximum delay decreased from 1193 ms to 117 ms. In addition, network connectivity remained stable during link failures through the automatic rerouting mechanism provided by OSPF. Furthermore, firewall filtering successfully restricted access to non-educational websites, resulting in more controlled network usage. Based on the testing results, the implementation of OSPF, Queue Tree QoS, and firewall filtering proved effective in improving the stability, efficiency, and quality of network services at SMKN 3 Buduran.
