Abstract

The main focus of this research is to examine the alignment between teaching practices and curriculum objectives, the role of teachers in the learning process, student engagement, and academic achievement based on the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKM). This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis. The results indicate that the implementation of Al-Qur’an Hadith learning at MI Al-Bhasirah is carried out in a structured manner, following clear phases of learning (introduction, core, and closing). Although most students (82%) scored above the KKM threshold, the learning process remains dominated by lecture-based methods and lacks the use of engaging instructional media. This has resulted in low student engagement and limited contextual understanding of the content of the Qur’anic verses and Hadiths. Routine muraja’ah has proven effective in reinforcing memorization, but the understanding and application of Islamic values in daily life still need to be strengthened. The findings of this study recommend the need for innovation in teaching methods and media, particularly those based on technology and contextual approaches, to improve learning effectiveness. The use of instructional videos, group discussions, case studies, and parental involvement can serve as alternative strategies to enhance the quality of Al-Qur’an Hadith education. By reinforcing affective and psychomotor aspects, the learning process can produce students who not only memorize but also understand and apply Islamic teachings in real life. This research is expected to serve as both an evaluation tool and a source of inspiration for more meaningful learning development in Islamic elementary schools

Abstract

This research aims to examine how interactions and the role of peers contribute to the formation of sanguine personality among students of the Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program at STAI Al Furqan Makassar. The college years are a challenging transitional phase, where social interactions, especially with peers, play a crucial role in character formation and the development of students' social skills. The sanguine personality, characterized by cheerful, expressive, and sociable traits, is considered highly relevant to the demands of the profession as an Islamic counselor. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation involving nine students from the 4th and 6th semesters. The research results show that intensive interaction and emotional support from peers can encourage students to be more open, confident, and communicative. In addition, the role of peers also serves as a stimulus in the formation of positive and adaptive character that supports students' readiness as prospective educators in the community. These findings emphasize the importance of creating a supportive social environment on campus to foster balanced personality development.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of supervision and multicultural education evaluation within an effective Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning model at SMP Islam Terpadu (Integrated Islamic Junior High School) As-Sunnah Makassar. Multicultural education plays a vital role in shaping students’ tolerant and inclusive character, especially within a school environment grounded in Islamic values. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using a case study method. Data collection techniques included classroom observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that supervision is carried out in an educative and developmental manner, encouraging teachers to design contextual, collaborative, and integrative learning strategies that align with multicultural values. The dominant instructional model applied is Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), which is further supported by cooperative learning and problem-based learning approaches. Evaluation is conducted comprehensively and continuously, covering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains, while also incorporating reflection and character development processes. Teachers act not only as instructors but also as role models who embody Islamic values in their daily interactions with students. This study underscores the importance of synergy between educative supervision, relevant learning models, and continuous evaluation in fostering effective and contextual IRE learning within a multicultural educational setting.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept, process, and results of the application of the ziyadah method in memorizing the Qur'an at the Istiqomah Quran House, Lekoboddong, Pangkep Regency. The research uses a qualitative approach with a type of phenomenology. The subjects of the study include students, supervisors, and founders of institutions. Data was collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed by data condensation techniques, data presentation, and inductive conclusions, and tested for validity through triangulation and member check. The results of the study show that the ziyadah method at the Istiqomah Quran House is understood as the gradual addition of new memorization which is always accompanied by old memorization muraja'ah, maintaining the quality of reading, and periodic evaluation. The implementation process takes place systematically through daily memorization targets, consistent muraja'ah, integration of old and new memorization, tasmi' evaluation, schedule consistency, and intensive assistance by ustadz. The application of the ziyadah method has a positive impact on increasing the number of memorization, reading quality, and the formation of religious attitudes and discipline of students. Thus, the ziyadah method has proven to be effective not only in improving memorization achievements, but also in shaping the character of the Qurani of students in a sustainable manner
