Abstract

Media sosial telah menjadi arena penting yang memengaruhi praktik produksi, distribusi, dan konsumsi seni rupa kontemporer urban, sekaligus membentuk habitus kreatif, persepsi estetis, dan mekanisme komodifikasi karya seni. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bagaimana media sosial memengaruhi habitus seniman dan audiens, perubahan persepsi nilai seni, serta percepatan komodifikasi, dan bagaimana dinamika tersebut berdampak pada arah serta pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan seni. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan perspektif sosioantropologi melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis praktik digital. Kerangka teori memadukan konsep habitus dan arena budaya, teori mediatization, serta ekonomi kreatif untuk memahami hubungan antara praktik seni dan ruang digital. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial membentuk orientasi produksi seni berbasis visibilitas, identitas performatif, dan strategi branding, yang memengaruhi persepsi audiens terhadap nilai estetika dan fungsi sosial seni. Proses ini mendorong komodifikasi yang semakin terintegrasi dengan logika ekonomi perhatian. Dampaknya, pendidikan seni perlu mengadaptasi kurikulum yang responsif terhadap literasi digital, kritik visual, dan pemahaman ekonomi budaya agar relevan dengan ekosistem seni kontemporer. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya rekonstruksi pedagogi seni dalam menghadapi transformasi budaya digital.

Abstract

Learning the visual arts has seen substantial changes as a result of the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology. The purpose of this investigation is to evaluate the impact of AI utilization on the motivation and creativity of students at SMA Negeri 3 Solok Selatan. Employing a quasi-experimental design (one-group pretest-posttest), the investigation implemented a quantitative methodology. A total of 33 students from class XI.8 comprised the research sample. The research instruments comprised a learning motivation questionnaire and a creativity assessment rubric that was based on the characteristics of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Descriptive statistics and paired t-tests were implemented to analyze the data. The results suggest that the utilization of AI has a substantial and beneficial impact on both student motivation and creativity. These results indicate that the incorporation of AI into visual arts education can be a successful pedagogical innovation that enhances the quality of the learning process and student outcomes.
