Abstract

Precision Livestock Farming (PLF) has emerged as a strategic approach to address efficiency, sustainability, and animal welfare challenges in modern livestock systems. Advances in sensor technologies, data analytics, and automated decision-support tools have enabled real-time monitoring of feed intake, animal behavior, and health status, yet empirical evidence on their integrated impacts remains fragmented. This study aims to evaluate how innovations in precision feed management and animal health monitoring contribute to optimized production efficiency in intensive livestock systems. The research employed a quantitative experimental design combined with farm-level monitoring, involving sensor-based feed delivery systems, wearable health sensors, and automated data analytics across selected commercial livestock farms. Performance indicators included feed conversion ratio, growth or productivity rates, health incidence, and resource-use efficiency. The results demonstrate that precision-managed feeding significantly reduced feed waste while improving feed conversion efficiency, whereas continuous health monitoring enabled early disease detection and reduced morbidity rates. Integrated PLF systems produced measurable gains in overall productivity and operational efficiency compared to conventional management practices. The study concludes that the synergistic application of precision feed management and animal health technologies enhances production efficiency while supporting animal welfare and resource sustainability. These findings highlight the potential of PLF as a transformative pathway for resilient and data-driven livestock production systems.

Abstract

The integration of narrative design in serious games has become a pivotal factor in enhancing player engagement and improving learning outcomes in educational games. Despite the growing use of game-based learning, the specific role of narrative elements in achieving these outcomes remains underexplored. This research aims to develop a framework for narrative design in educational games, focusing on its impact on player engagement and learning outcomes. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys to measure knowledge retention, problem-solving, and critical thinking, with qualitative interviews to explore player experiences and emotional engagement. The study involved 200 participants who were divided into two groups: one playing games with strong narrative elements and the other with minimal narrative content. The results indicate that narrative-driven games significantly enhance engagement and improve learning outcomes. Players in the narrative-heavy group demonstrated higher levels of knowledge retention (M = 4.45), problem-solving (M = 4.38), and player engagement (M = 4.60) compared to the narrative-light group (M = 3.72, M = 3.55, and M = 3.45, respectively). These findings suggest that effective narrative design is essential for maximizing the educational potential of serious games. The study provides actionable insights for game designers and educators to optimize narrative elements in educational games.

Abstract

Rural agrotourism has emerged as a strategic approach for promoting sustainable rural development by integrating agricultural resources, cultural heritage, and tourism activities. Increasing competition within the tourism sector, combined with rapid digital transformation and evolving visitor expectations, has created new challenges and opportunities for rural destinations. Social entrepreneurship offers a promising mechanism for empowering local communities, generating social value, and fostering innovation, while digital marketing platforms provide effective tools for expanding market reach and enhancing destination visibility. This study aims to examine the role of social entrepreneurship and innovative digital marketing platforms in fostering rural agrotourism development and to explore how their integration contributes to sustainable tourism growth. A qualitative research design employing a multiple-case study approach was utilized. Data were collected through the analysis of scholarly literature, institutional reports, tourism development documents, and case-based evidence related to rural tourism enterprises and community-based initiatives. Findings indicate that social entrepreneurship strengthens community participation, enhances local capacity, and promotes destination innovation. Innovative digital marketing platforms, including social media, online promotion tools, and digital storytelling strategies, significantly improve destination visibility, tourist engagement, and market accessibility. Synergistic interaction between entrepreneurial leadership and digital innovation emerged as a critical factor supporting sustainable agrotourism development. The study concludes that integrating social entrepreneurship with digital marketing strategies provides an effective pathway for strengthening rural economies, enhancing tourism competitiveness, and promoting inclusive and sustainable community development.
