Abstract

Date palm (Phoenix dactylifera L.) is a type of palm plant whose fruit is edible because it tastes sweet, has a height of about 15-25 meters and pinnate leaves with a length of 3-5 meters. Dates are a large commodity and an important crop in hot and barren areas such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt. Apart from these countries, dates are also famous in Indonesia because of their sweet taste and many benefits. Cultivation of date palms is carried out generatively through seeds, propagation of date palms through seeds is one of the main ways to get the same genetics as the parent for the cultivation process. Date seeds take 100 days or more for a success rate of 20%. Soaking with GA3 for hard-skinned seeds needs to be done to speed up the germination process. Longer soaking of the seeds is expected to increase the growth regulators absorbed by the seeds so that they can accelerate germination and increase the percentage of germination which results in increased growth. This research was conducted to determine the effect of concentration and duration of immersion of gibberellin growth regulator on the germination of Sukari date seeds. The research was carried out in the home yard of the Mampang Prapatan sub-district, South Jakarta. In April to May 2020. The experimental design carried out in this study was the factorial in randomized block design (RBD). The first factor was three kinds of gibberellin concentration (200 ppm, 400 ppm, and 600 ppm) and the second factor was three kinds of soaking time (6 hours, 12 hours, and 18 hours). The results showed that the interaction of GA3 and the duration of immersion of Sukari dates had no effect on each parameter of the observation.

Abstract

Study aims to determine the growth response of cocoa seedlings (Theobroma cacaoL) to NPK fertilizer treatment. The research was conducted on the land of the Cangkring Indah Farmer Women Group, Kampung Cangkring, Jayalaksana Village, Cabang bungin District, Bekasi Regency in August 2021 to November 2021. The experimental designused was Factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) with 3 replications. The first factor is NPK fertilizer consisting of five levels of 0 grams (N0), 5 grams (N1), 10 grams (N2), 15 grams (N3), and 20 grams per plant (N4) per plant, the second factor is cocoa clones consisting of three clones, namely MCC 1 (K1), SUL 1(K2), and SUL 2 (K3). Eachtreatment has 3 sample plants resulting in combinations with a total of 135 sample plants. The results of the comparison test between treatmens in the of NPK fertilizer 0 gr/plant or control (N0K2), had a significant ef ects on plant height at the age of 2, 4, and6weeks after planting, and in the treament NPK fertilizer 10 gr/plant (N2K2) hadasignificant ef ects on the number of leaves at the of 6 and 8 weeks after planting

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of POC, AB Mix and the interaction of POC turi leaves and AB Mix on the growth and yield of green lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa L.) with hydroponic cultivation of wick systems. The research was carried out on Jl Raya Setu No. 92, West Cikarang and began from August to September 2022. The design used is a factorial Group Random Design (RAK) with 2 factors and 3 repeats. The first factor of POC concentration of turi leaves consists of: T1 (15 ml), T2 (30 ml) and T3 (45), and the second factor AB Mix nutrition consisting of M1 (100 ppm), M2 (300 ppm) and M3 (500 ppm). The sample was determined by 4 plants per treatment, so that a total of (3x3x3x4) 108 plants. The observed data were further tested using the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the level of 5%. The results showed that the application of turi leaf POC and AB Mix had a significant influence on stem diameter and wet weight of plants, and did not differ significantly in other parameters. T1M3 treatment (15 ml poc turi leaves and AB Mix 500 ppm) tends to give the best results on the growth of green lettuce plants.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim to determine the effect of media and clones on the growth of cocoa seedlings. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Borobudur University in September-November 2022. This research used Factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK), the first factor was 4 kinds of planting media (soil: compost: husk, soil: compost: sand, soil: compost: husk: cocopeat, soil: compost: sand: cocopeat) and the second factor was two cocoa clones (Sulawesi 1 and Sulawesi 2). The data obtained will be further tested using the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% level. The results showed that there was an interaction effect of planting media and cocoa clones on the number of leaves and stem diameter at the age of 12 weeks after planting with the best treatment M1S2. In planting media there is a significant effect on plant height 6, 10 weeks after planting with the best treatment M4, number of leaves 4 weeks after planting with the best treatment M4, stem diameter 4 weeks after planting with the best treatment M4. In cocoa clones there is no significant effect at various ages, but tend to be highest in Sulawesi 1 clone in plant height, number of leaves and stem wet weight while in Sulawesi 2 clone tend to be highest in parameters of stem diameter, root length and root wet weight

Abstract

The research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of applying goat organic fertilizer and NASA POC to pakcoy plants that have been carried out in the experimental garden of the faculty of agriculture, Borobudur university which began in May to July 2023. This study used factorial randomized group design (RAK) with two factors and repeated 3 times. The first factor is manure (K) at the level of 100 g, 150g, and 200g. The second factor is NASA POC (P) at the level of 5 ml / l, 6 ml / l, and 7 ml / l. The data were analyzed using the F test and the F test. Data were analyzed using F test and stepwise further test with four (4) testing parameters: Plant height,  number of leaves, plant weight, and root length. The results of the study were analyzed using SPSS Version 24 with the conclusion that the interaction between goat manure and (POC) Nasa had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, wet weight and root length. Goat manure had a significant effect at the age of 2, 3, 4, and 5 weeks after planting on plant height and number of leaves as well as on wet weight parameters and root length which showed a significant difference at the age of 5 weeks after planting. The best treatment was shown at a dose of 200 g (K3). POC Nasa had a significant effect at the age of 3, 4, and 5 weeks after planting on plant height and number of leaves with the best treatment results at a dose of POC Nasa 5 ml/l (P3)
