<![CDATA[ABSTRAKKurangnya informasi tentang perkembangan musik surf rock di kota Bandung menjadikan pemicu film dokumenter ini dibuat. Mengangkat profil The Panturas sebagai band yang memainkan musik surf rock di kota Bandung kedalam media film dokumenter, semoga bisa memberikan manfaat serta menjadi informasi baru pada perkembangan skena musik surf rock di kota Bandung. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif yang datanya didapat dari kepustakaan, kuisioner yang berisi pertanyaan-pertanyaan seputar musik surf rock dan profil The Panturas, serta melakukan wawancara langsung dengan The Panturas dan beberapa narasumber terkait untuk melengkapi data yang diperlukan dalam pengerjaan film dokumenter ini.Media utama yang digunakan berupa film dokumenter, media ini dipilih karena bisa menjadi salah satu informasi yang bermanfaat dalam perkembangan musik surf rock serta mengenalkan The Panturas ke khalayak luas.Kata Kunci: Film Dokumenter, Musik Surf Rock, The PanturasABSTRACKLack of information about the development of surf rock music in the city of Bandung made the trigger of this documentary film making. Based on these problems the author uses qualitative methods whose data is obtained from the literature, questionnaires containing questions about surf rock music and The Panturas profile, as well as conducting direct interviews with The Panturas and related sources to complete the data needed in the documentary.
