Abstrak Masjid di Aceh umumnya masih difungsikan sebagai pusat ibadah dan kegiatan keagamaan, sementara perannya dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi jamaah belum optimal. Padahal, masjid memiliki potensi besar sebagai pusat pengembangan ekonomi umat melalui penguatan kelembagaan dan unit usaha berbasis komunitas. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendampingi pengurus Masjid Baitul Jannah Tungkop, Kabupaten Aceh Besar dalam proses pembentukan koperasi masjid; (2) memetakan potensi ekonomi jamaah dan aset masjid yang dapat dikembangkan sebagai unit usaha; serta (3) meningkatkan pemahaman dan kapasitas pengurus serta jamaah dalam pengelolaan kelembagaan ekonomi berbasis masjid. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui tahapan identifikasi masalah, perencanaan program, pelaksanaan pendampingan, serta evaluasi bersama pemangku kepentingan. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi penyuluhan perkoperasian, diskusi partisipatif, pemetaan potensi ekonomi masjid, serta perumusan rencana unit usaha koperasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman pengurus dan jamaah tentang koperasi masjid, kesepakatan pembentukan koperasi konsumen, serta perencanaan unit usaha awal berupa toko sembako dan barbershop berbasis jamaah. Pendampingan ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal penguatan peran masjid sebagai pusat pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat secara berkelanjutan. Abstract Mosques in Aceh generally still function as centers of worship and religious activities, while their role in the economic empowerment of worshippers is not optimal. In fact, mosques have great potential as a center for the economic development of the people through institutional strengthening and community-based business units. This community service activity aims to (1) assisting the management of the Baitul Jannah Tungkop Mosque, Aceh Besar Regency in the process of forming a mosque cooperative; (2) mapping the economic potential of worshippers and mosque assets that can be developed as business units; and (3) increasing the understanding and capacity of administrators and worshippers in the management of mosque-based economic institutions. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) through the stages of problem identification, program planning, implementation of mentoring, and evaluation with stakeholders. The activities carried out include cooperative counseling, participatory discussions, mapping the economic potential of mosques, and formulation of cooperative business unit plans. The results of the activity showed an increase in the understanding of the management and worshippers about mosque cooperatives, agreements on the formation of consumer cooperatives, and the planning of initial business units in the form of worship-based grocery stores and barbershops. This assistance is expected to be the first step in strengthening the role of mosques as a center for sustainable community economic empowerment.
