Abstract

This systematic literature review examines the implementation of Sundanese philosophical values "Silih Asah, Silih Asih, Silih Asuh" in developing social ethics in elementary schools. The study analyzes 40 relevant articles from Sinta 2 and Scopus-indexed journals published between 2022-2025. Using the PRISMA framework, this review identifies key themes, implementation strategies, and outcomes of integrating local wisdom into elementary education. Results show that these values significantly enhance students' social competence, empathy, and collaborative skills. The findings suggest that incorporating indigenous philosophical values into school curricula can effectively bridge cultural preservation with modern educational goals.

Abstract

The challenges of education in the contemporary era are characterized by a decline in students’ character, spiritual awareness, and social awareness. In response to these conditions, Daarut Tauhiid Elementary School has developed Tauhiid-based character education through the cultural philosophy of 7 Love Daarut Tauhiid, which includes love for knowledge, the Qur’an, the mosque, charity, fasting, zikr, and qiyamullail. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Tauhiid-based character education, teachers’ strategies in internalizing values, and its impact on students’ character and behavior. The study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving teachers, students, school leaders, and parents. Data analysis was conducted using pattern matching, explanation building, and triangulation techniques. The results indicate that the 7 Love Daarut Tauhiid culture functions as a lived curriculum integrated into the formal curriculum, school culture, worship practices, role modeling, critical reflection, and collaboration between the school and parents. This implementation has a positive impact on strengthening students’ spirituality, discipline, social empathy, politeness, responsibility, and self-control.
