Abstract

This community service activity is part of the Field Experience Program (PPL) carried out by students at Pondok Pesantren Al-Ikhlas, Ketapan Pekoren, Rembang District, Pasuruan Regency. The program focuses on strengthening the Qur’an memorization (tahfidz) program and improving the understanding of Qur’anic content through a series of trainings, mentoring sessions, and evaluations conducted from October 20 to November 27, 2025.The existing tahfidz program at the pesantren previously faced several challenges, such as limited variety of methods, suboptimal understanding of verses, and the absence of well-structured learning tools. This community service initiative centers on mentoring tahfidz methods, conducting thematic Qur’anic studies, compiling structured learning tools, and evaluating the progress of the students. The results indicate improvements in memorization skills, consistency in muroja’ah, understanding of Qur’anic content, and the competence of instructors in applying modern tahfidz methods. This article presents a broader description encompassing the context, methods, field activities, achievement data, and recommendations for sustainable implementation
