Abstract

This community service program aimed to develop the career readiness of 11th grade students at SMA Terang Nusantara through structured internship and career counseling activities. The program was implemented in June 2025 under the coordination of the CLCC Marketplace Team, involving 23 students and partner companies operating in footwear, property, and paint industries. The applied method integrated community education, training, and consultation approaches, with stages including planning and coordination, socialization, nine day internships, one day career counseling, and evaluation and reflection. The program materials covered practical work in company operational units, work ethics training, and career planning discussions. The results indicated that students gained real work experience, basic skills in relevant fields, and internship certificates that boosted their confidence. Moreover, positive behavioral changes were observed, such as improved time discipline, professional communication, and increased awareness of the importance of career planning. The program also fostered new networks between the school, CLCC, and business partners, which have the potential to become a new institution supporting student career development, and revealed early signs of local leadership initiatives among participants. The conclusion drawn is that collaborative internships involving schools and business partners proved effective in enhancing student career readiness, and it is recommended to expand the program through cross field rotation and continuous cooperation with business partners.

Abstract

Post-funeral grief represents the most vulnerable phase of loss, when liturgical and social support begin to fade while emotional and spiritual struggles intensify. However, pastoral practice in Indonesian churches remains largely concentrated on funeral services and memorial rites, with post-burial accompaniment often unstructured and discontinuous. This study aims to analyze the challenges of pastoral accompaniment in the post-funeral phase and to develop a process-oriented framework for pastoral presence among grieving congregants. Using a qualitative literature-based approach, this study examines biblical sources, pastoral theology, grief psychology, and contemporary pastoral research within the Indonesian context. The analysis identifies three major gaps: a theological gap in articulating eschatological hope, a pastoral gap in sustaining long-term accompaniment, and a contextual gap in mobilizing communal support. In response, this study proposes a post-funeral pastoral accompaniment model that integrates liturgy, counseling, and community-based support according to different types of loss. This model affirms that sustained pastoral presence is essential for the restoration of faith and the strengthening of spiritual resilience among those who grieve.AbstrakDuka pasca-pemakaman merupakan fase paling rentan dalam pengalaman kehilangan, ketika dukungan sosial dan liturgis mulai berkurang sementara pergumulan emosional dan spiritual justru meningkat. Namun, praktik gerejawi di Indonesia masih didominasi oleh pelayanan pada saat ibadah penghiburan dan pemakaman, dengan pendampingan setelahnya yang sering tidak terstruktur dan tidak berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tantangan pendampingan pastoral pada fase pasca-pemakaman serta mengembangkan kerangka penyertaan pastoral yang berorientasi proses bagi jemaat yang berduka. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur atas sumber biblika, teologi pastoral, psikologi kedukaan, serta penelitian pastoral dalam konteks Indonesia. Hasil kajian menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan teologis dalam penekanan pengharapan eskatologis, kesenjangan pastoral dalam keberlanjutan pendampingan, dan kesenjangan kontekstual dalam pemanfaatan dukungan komunitas. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini merumuskan model pendampingan pastoral pasca-pemakaman yang mengintegrasikan liturgi, konseling, dan dukungan komunitas sesuai dengan jenis kehilangan. Model ini menegaskan bahwa penyertaan pastoral yang berkelanjutan merupakan kunci bagi pemulihan iman dan ketahanan spiritual jemaat.
