Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), the use of digital filters, and artificial intelligence(AI) technology in shaping business image in the digital era. The phenomenon of FOMO has become a major driving forcebehind business engagement in following aesthetic trends to maintain relevance on social media platforms. Using aquantitative approach with an explanatory research design, this study examines the effect of FOMO on the intensity ofdigital filter and AI usage and its impact on business image. Data were collected through an online survey using a Likertscaleinstrument and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).The findings indicatethat FOMO has a significant influence on the use of digital filters and AI technologies and exerts both direct and indirecteffects on business image. The application of visual technologies is shown to enhance perceptions of professionalism, aesthetic appeal, and brand credibility among consumers. Furthermore, the study reveals that psychological pressure anddigital social dynamics accelerate the frequency of visual content updates by businesses. These results contributetheoretically to the integration of psychological variables and visual technologies in the formation of digital brand image, while also offering practical implications for business practitioners in designing ethical, adaptive, and effective visualcommunication strategies. The study emphasizes the importance of balancing AI-based digital aesthetics with brandauthenticity to create a strong and sustainable business image amid increasingly intense visual competition

Abstract

Public awareness of the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness still needs to be improved, particularly in public spaces that are shared by the community. This community service activity aimed to improve cleanliness, environmental aesthetics, and public awareness in creating a healthy environment at RPTRA Nusa Indah, Meruya Utara, Kembangan, West Jakarta. The program was implemented through three main activities: community clean-up activities, repainting and mural creation to enhance environmental aesthetics, and educational sessions for children on the importance of maintaining cleanliness through presentations and interactive games. The activity was conducted on December 12, 18, and 19, 2023, involving students participating in the Community Service Program (KKN) of Universitas Budi Luhur, RPTRA management, and local residents. The results showed that the RPTRA environment became cleaner and more organized, seating areas and walls became visually more attractive, and children demonstrated a better understanding of clean and healthy living behaviors. Active community participation and support from RPTRA management were key factors in the success of the program. This activity had a positive impact on environmental quality and can serve as a model for participatory community service programs in supporting the creation of healthy, comfortable, and sustainable public spaces.

Abstract

Mutiara Serpong Villa Complex, located in Pondok Jagung Timur Village, South Tangerang, is surrounded by the BSD City area. This area faces environmental problems due to the uncontrolled growth of water hyacinth (Eichornia Crassipes) in the surrounding lakes and swamps, causing irrigation disruption and decreasing water quality. Water hyacinth is known as a weed that damages the aquatic environment, but it also has positive potential as a raw material for organic fertilizer. This program aims to overcome the problem of the spread of water hyacinth by utilizing the plant into organic compost. Water hyacinth compost contains high nutrients, helps improve soil properties, and improves the quality and quantity of plants. This initiative is expected to provide environmental benefits while increasing the income of the surrounding community through the use of water hyacinth as organic fertilizer. Community Service Activities at the Mutiara Serpong Villa Complex use several methods that aim to provide understanding and skills about making compost from water hyacinth to the local community. There are five main stages: Socialization, Counseling, Training and Practice, Observation and Evaluation, Sustainability. This method is designed to increase active community participation and the sustainability of water hyacinth compost use as a beneficial environmental solution.
