Abstract

This study presents a comprehensive review of strategic leadership, employing a systematic literature review (SLR) and bibliometric analysis to evaluate its evolution and significance in contemporary organizational practices. By examining 733 articles on strategic leadership from the Scopus database, this research highlights key trends, gaps, and future directions in the field. The findings reveal that strategic leadership is increasingly relevant across various sectors, particularly with the rise of digital transformation and the growing influence of artificial intelligence. Additionally, the study underscores the importance of integrating leadership theories with practical applications to enhance organizational performance. The bibliometric analysis further identifies prominent authors, institutions, and countries contributing to strategic leadership research, suggesting areas where future inquiries could focus, including the intersection of leadership and innovation. The results provide valuable insights for both academics and practitioners, advancing the understanding of strategic leadership's impact on organizational success.

Abstract

Climate change and environmental issues are increasingly becoming major concerns worldwide, with impacts increasingly felt across various industrial sectors. In this context, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) are two inseparable elements in efforts to create a greener and more sustainable future. One increasingly popular way to address these challenges is through the implementation of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM), which focuses on integrating environmentally friendly principles into human resource management (HRM) (Renwick et al., 2013). This article aims to examine the development of the Green Human Resource Management concept, the main practices implemented by companies within a biodiversity framework, and the benefits that can be obtained from implementing GHRM. Researchers also function as a literature research tool, so the level of objectivity is still debatable. The explicit search process means that SLR is usually more time-consuming than traditional observation (Priharsari, 2022). This step is in accordance with the guidelines in PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses). The literature search was conducted using the Watase UAKE application by entering the Scopus search engine API key. The search engine was selected to obtain reputable scientific literature indexed by Scopus Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4. SLR research can be used as a method to identify and uncover theories on the topic of interest. Based on the 194 articles reviewed, a systematic literature review was conducted, with publication dates between 2020 and 2024. Only 40 articles met the criteria and were used as references in this study. Based on the findings, the most widely used research method was quantitative. The results also indicate that Green HRM plays a significant role in Environmental Performance, which is widely applied within organizations and the business world.

Abstract

Teacher performance quality remains a strategic issue in elementary education, particularly in regions with large and diverse teacher populations such as West Java. This study examines the influence of transformational leadership, organizational culture, and teacher welfare on teacher performance quality, with work motivation as a mediating variable. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using a cross-sectional survey design. The respondents were public elementary school teachers in West Java Province, selected through proportionate stratified cluster random sampling across several regional clusters. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with AMOS. The findings indicate that teacher welfare plays the most important role in improving both work motivation and teacher performance quality. Work motivation also mediates the relationship between teacher welfare and teacher performance quality, showing that welfare improvement can strengthen teacher performance by enhancing motivation. In contrast, transformational leadership does not show a significant influence on either work motivation or teacher performance quality. Organizational culture has a negative effect on work motivation, suggesting that a demanding school culture without adequate support may reduce teachers’ intrinsic motivation. These findings highlight that improving teacher welfare, strengthening psychosocial recognition, ensuring workload fairness, and creating a supportive school culture are essential strategies for improving teacher performance quality. This study contributes to educational management literature by emphasizing teacher welfare and work motivation as central mechanisms in strengthening elementary school teacher performance
