Abstract

This study aims to analyze messages in the film “Cinta Tak Seindah Drama Korea” as a representation of the fusion of storytelling styles in contemporary cinema. The research method employed a qualitative descriptive approach using Charles Sanders Peirce’s semiotic theory. The findings reveal that narrative and visual elements are structured to convey messages to the audience. Furthermore, the film uniquely blends storytelling elements characteristic of Korean dramas such as visual aesthetics and dramatic structure while retaining the distinctive traits and narrative approach of Indonesian cinema. Overall, the film “Cinta Tak Seindah Drama Korea” demonstrates the ability of local cinema to both respond to and creatively adapt popular trends. These findings affirm that adapting foreign trends does not immediately erase the identity of local works; rather, it enriches perspectives and strengthens the current position of Indonesian cinema.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan proses sadar yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi peserta didik melalui pewarisan nilai, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Dalam konteks pendidikan formal, pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan kompetensi komunikasi siswa di era global. Namun, hasil observasi di SMP Negeri 3 Pagimana menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran masih didominasi metode konvensional yang berpusat pada guru dan belum memanfaatkan pendekatan berbasis permainan edukatif, sehingga keaktifan dan motivasi belajar siswa cenderung rendah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi guru dan siswa mengenai penerapan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris berbasis permainan edukatif sebagai strategi inovatif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap observasi, koordinasi dengan pihak sekolah, serta implementasi pembelajaran interaktif pada siswa kelas VIII. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan permainan edukatif mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menyenangkan, partisipatif, dan komunikatif. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif, antusias, dan percaya diri dalam menggunakan Bahasa Inggris pada aspek listening, speaking, reading, dan writing. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran berbasis permainan edukatif dapat menjadi alternatif strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses dan hasil pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di sekolah.

Abstract

Advances in information technology are encouraging village governments to improve the quality of public services through the implementation of digital systems. One possible approach is the digitization of archives as a means of storing and managing documents more effectively and efficiently. This study aims to analyze student strategies in implementing digital archives to support public services in Padungnyo Village, Nambo District. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, interviews with village officials, documentation, and field notes during the Independent Internship program. The results indicate that student strategies include identifying archive needs, socialization, creating digital folders, inputting data into Google Sheets, storing documents in Google Drive, and providing assistance to village officials in using the system. The implementation of digital archives helps accelerate document retrieval, organize archives more systematically, and reduce the risk of document loss. The main obstacles identified were limited internet access, computer facilities, and the ability of officials to use digital applications.
