Abstract

This study aims to describe the existence of the Project Dakwah community in Makassar city and its da'wah communication patterns and strategies. Using qualitative research methods with data collection techniques interviewing the founder of the community and the head of the akhawat (female) team. Library research was conducted with 30 types of reading material sources and direct observation of da'wah activities as well as publication of activities on social media. The results showed that the Project Dakwah community as one of the communities that emerged in 2019 until now has initiated the implementation of da'wah and humanitarian-based activities. Involving 60 people consisting of men and women as a management team and recruitment of volunteers based on da'wah events. The pattern and strategy of da'wah communication carried out by referring to surah An-Nahl verse 125, namely; namely Bil-hikmah, Mau'idzotul hasanah and Mujadalah billati iya ahsan. Da'wah bil hikmah is shown by the existence of a free attitude to make choices to be able to migrate and become a more pious person based on the level of each ability without coercion. Likewise Mau'idzotul Hasanah. Guiding gently so that they want to do better Mujadalah Billati Hiya Ahsan as an approach that prioritizes persuasive and assertive communication processes, encouraging the object of da'wah to think healthily and accept da'wah with gentle delivery without coercion. Using Burgoon's interaction adaptation theory which shows the desire of the Da'wah Project in line with the expectations and actions of the da'wah object by following a program that is flexible and adaptive to the conditions of the younger generation.

Abstract

LGBT+ is a global phenomenon that challenges Muslims and da'wah actors in particular. This study aims to describe the phenomenon of LGBT+, especially in Indonesia, and explore several strategies of da'wah approaches that can be done both as a preventive measure and when LGBT+ deviations occur. The research method used is qualitative with library research using twenty-one scientific journal references to examine and find explanations related to LGBT+. The results showed (1) LGBT+ is a social deviation that is globally increasingly rapid development and even constitutionally in some countries recognized as an abnormal relationship as recognition of human rights that get special treatment. (2) Indonesia as one of the countries with data as many as 26 million Facebook users openly identify themselves as LGBT with the number of gays in Indonesia has reached 20,000 people and even more.  (3) From an Islamic perspective, the LGBT+ movement and struggle is considered a struggle that violates biological and theological foundations and principles. Qur'anic verses explain the prohibition of LGBT+ behavior, q.s.Annisa:119, Al-A'raf: 80-81 and surah Hud: 78.(4) Islam pays close attention to this phenomenon by implementing several distinctive da'wah approaches that can be carried out by da'i or da'wah groups. As a preventive measure, for example, by mainstreaming to children as early as possible about faith education, morals and morals, physical and sex education gradually. (5) A da'wah approach that touches cognitive, affective and behavioral aspects by always considering the principles of da'i ability, sociological, psychological principles as well as the principles of effectiveness and efficiency of da'wah. Two major strategies carried out are senitmentil and rational strategies. Touching the heart of the object of da'wah with reflective messages while presenting logical messages wrapped in scientific research built on the foundation of sharia to show and open the hearts and minds of LGBT+ people about the dangers of these bad actions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan semiotika Roland Barthes pada trailer film Gaza (Hayya 3), sebuah film tentang anak yatim piatu dari relawan kemanusiaan yang wafat di Palestina dan pertemuannya dengan Hayya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik observasi digital terhadap 6 cuplikan utama—meliputi adegan, dialog, dan simbol visual—serta studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa trailer berdurasi 2 menit 15 detik ini menggabungkan potongan adegan pemain dengan video riil, seperti aksi kemanusiaan di Monas dan pria pembawa bendera di tengah asap. Melalui konsep tanda Barthes, objek visual seperti bendera, syal, jilbab, dan baju Palestina bertindak sebagai signified (petanda) yang mempertegas identitas film. Sebaliknya, orasi kemanusiaan dan pengeboman bangunan bertindak sebagai signifier (penanda) ekspresi film. Secara denotasi, tangisan Hayya dan aksi ketapel pemuda menunjukkan kepiluan serta perjuangan fisik. Secara konotasi, tangisan tersebut memicu destabilisasi makna (multi-tafsir) bagi penonton, sementara ketapel menyimbolkan keterbatasan yang tidak menyurutkan semangat juang. Penelitian ini berkontribusi penting pada studi komunikasi Islam dengan membuktikan bahwa trailer film efektif menyampaikan pesan dakwah dan keagamaan yang mendalam melalui simbol visual dan audio.

Abstract

Civil society with its pluralism philosophically refers to a society that is in accordance with a strong frame of Islamic values The purpose of this research is to explore the relationship between the concepts of civil society, civil society, and khaeruh ummah in an Islamic context. Using library research with fifteen references, the study reveals several key findings. Firstly, civil society is seen as an ideal model practiced in Medina during the time of Prophet Muhammad, where pluralism and respect for differences were emphasised. Secondly, civil society and civil society have their own historical roots, although they share the common purpose of organizing social and state life. Thirdly, the desire to create a civilized and dignified society is closely connected to religion, which provides the main source of strength. Lastly, the concept of khaerul ummah, inspired by the verses of the Qur'an, serves as evidence of a civilized society that values humanism, freedom, and faith. Overall, this research highlights the importance of Islamic values in the formation of a pluralistic and dignified civil society.
