Abstract

This study is simply analyzing the influence of AI use on student learning independence. This study employs systematic review which is using source that relevant to the topic of AI use in learning and the concept of self-directed learning. Data were analyzed descriptively by identifying key themes in terms of the use of AI in supporting the independent learning process. The results show that AI has great potential to improve student learning independence by providing instant feedback, and supporting personalized learning. However, uncontrolled use of AI can create dependency, reduce critical thinking skills, and reduce students' independent exploration efforts. Therefore, AI in learning should be balanced with pedagogical strategies that encourage reflection, critical thinking, and student responsibility for learning.

Abstract

Blended learning has become an increasingly popular instructional approach in language education, particularly in improving students’ writing ability. This study aims to examine the impact of blended learning on students’ writing skills through a systematic review of relevant scholarly literature. The data were collected from reputable academic databases and analyzed using a systematic review procedure involving article identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and synthesis of findings. The review indicates that blended learning positively influences students’ writing ability by providing flexible learning environments, increasing opportunities for practice, and facilitating timely feedback through digital platforms. In addition, the integration of online and face-to-face instruction encourages student engagement, collaboration, and autonomous learning. However, several challenges were also identified, including technological limitations, unequal digital literacy among students, and the need for effective instructional design. Overall, the findings suggest that blended learning is an effective approach for enhancing students’ writing ability when supported by adequate technological infrastructure and appropriate pedagogical strategies. This study highlights the importance of integrating digital learning environments with traditional classroom instruction to improve writing outcomes in language education.

Abstract

This study employed a literature review method, examining various scientific sources, including books, reputable journal articles, and research findings relevant to the topic of digital technology and language learning theory. Data collection was conducted through a literature search in academic databases, followed by descriptive qualitative analysis by identifying related concepts, findings, and research trends. The study's findings indicate that digital technology plays a significant role in enriching and transforming approaches to language learning theory and technology-based collaborative learning. Various digital platforms, artificial intelligence-based applications, and online learning media enable the language learning process to be more interactive, flexible, and learner-centered. Furthermore, digital technology also encourages the emergence of language learning models that are more adaptive to learner needs in the era of globalization. Thus, digital technology not only functions as a learning aid but also becomes a crucial factor in the development of modern language learning paradigms and theories.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of AI integration on students’ independent learning through a systematic review of relevant scholarly literature. The research synthesizes findings from peer-reviewed journal articles focusing on studies that discuss the use of AI-based applications in educational settings and their influence on students’ self-directed or independent learning. The systematic review process involves identifying, selecting, and analyzing empirical and theoretical studies from reputable academic databases. The results indicate that AI integration contributes positively to students’ independent learning by facilitating personalized instruction, promoting self-regulated learning, increasing learning motivation, and enabling flexible access to learning resources. Furthermore, AI-powered tools such as intelligent tutoring systems, automated feedback systems, and adaptive learning platforms encourage students to take greater responsibility for their own learning processes. However, several challenges are also identified, including overreliance on technology, limited digital literacy, and ethical concerns related to data privacy and academic integrity. Overall, the findings highlight that the effective integration of AI can support the development of students’ independent learning when accompanied by appropriate pedagogical strategies and digital literacy support. This study provides insights for educators, researchers, and policymakers in understanding the role of AI in fostering autonomous learning in modern educational contexts.
