Abstract

Exemplification in education is an effective method that most ensures success in preparing and forming students with noble character and morals. Social studies subjects are one of the fields of science taught in junior high schools. In relation to the internalization of exemplary values, this research will focus on Social Sciences subjects in an integrated manner. To teach exemplary values in social studies learning, of course it cannot be taught using a factual teaching approach (lecture), but appropriate approaches must be used so that students understand, appreciate and integrate the values of national character which will be integrated into competency standards and basic competencies in social studies subjects. In this case, social studies as a school subject not only develops theoretical values that prioritize logic and rationality, but also becomes a subject that can be used to develop other values. By providing conducive Social Sciences (IPS) learning conditions, it will enable students to be directly involved in learning as an effort to develop knowledge, values, attitudes, morals and social skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of emotional card educational games in Islamic Religious Education (IRE), particularly in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject, to foster moral values and anti-bullying attitudes among elementary school students. This research also seeks to examine the role of emotion card media in helping students recognize, understand, and manage their emotions positively. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using field research conducted at MIN 1 Bima. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation with IRE teachers, students, and the madrasah head. Data analysis followed Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The data's validity was ensured through triangulation and member checking. The findings indicate that the use of emotion cards improves students’ ability to recognize and manage emotions, enhances empathy toward peers, and reduces bullying behavior in the classroom. The learning process also becomes more interactive, communicative, and enjoyable, leading to greater student engagement. Students appear more active in discussions and collaborative activities, and they respect their peers’ opinions during learning. Furthermore, integrating emotional aspects with Islamic moral values has proven effective in fostering positive social behavior. This study is limited to a single research site and does not quantitatively measure behavioral changes among students. This study offers an innovative approach by integrating emotion-based educational games into IRE learning to strengthen anti-bullying character education among elementary school students.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir logis pada anak usia dini sangat penting karena menjadi dasar untuk memecahkan masalah dan mengambil keputusan di masa depan. Namun, banyak lembaga PAUD masih didominasi kegiatan calistung sehingga kurang memberikan ruang bagi anak untuk bereksplorasi dan bereksperimen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi kegiatan eksperimen sederhana dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir logis anak, serta memahami faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan kepala sekolah dan guru sebagai informan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data dijaga melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa eksperimen sederhana dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yaitu perencanaan mencakup menyusun rencana harian, pelaksanaan, mencakup anak melakukan percobaan, mengamati, menebak, dan menyimpulkan, serta evaluasi, menggunakan catatan anekdot dan lembar observasi. Faktor pendukung meliputi semangat belajar anak, kreativitas guru, dan lingkungan sekolah yang memadai. Faktor penghambatnya adalah keterbatasan waktu, kesulitan mengelola kelas, serta perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman anak. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kegiatan eksperimen sederhana cukup efektif dalam membantu anak meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis, terutama dalam mengamati, mengelompokkan, memahami sebab-akibat, dan menarik kesimpulan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, menganalisis, dan mengevaluasi implementasi pembelajaran sosial emosional anak melalui kegiatan bermain peran dalam menumbuhkan karakter sosial budaya anak di TK Yaa Bunayya Kota Bima. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data dari kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa, serta dokumen sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan uji kredibilitas menggunakan member check, cross check, dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran sosial emosional melalui bermain peran dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan kemampuan empati, kerja sama, pengelolaan emosi, serta pengenalan nilai-nilai sosial budaya lokal pada anak. Pendekatan ini juga mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal Kota Bima, seperti profesi nelayan dan pedagang pasar, serta penggunaan bahasa daerah. Dengan demikian, bermain peran merupakan metode yang efektif, menyenangkan, dan bermakna dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan sosial emosional sekaligus menanamkan karakter sosial budaya sejak usia dini.
