Abstract

This study aims to develop Smart Apps Creator (SAC)-based interactive learning media for fifth-grade IPAS subjects at MI Miftahul Huda Tegalsambi and to evaluate its validity, practicality, and effectiveness regarding the topics "Seeing because of Light, Hearing because of Sound" and "My Wealthy Indonesia." The study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which comprises five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, expert validations, and pre-test and post-test scores from 25 fifth-grade students selected via purposive sampling. The results indicate that the developed media is highly valid, as evaluated by media and material experts, received excellent responses from both teachers and students, and is effective in improving students' understanding of IPAS materials. The improvement in learning outcomes is evidenced by increases from pre-test to post-test scores, a moderate N-Gain score, and a statistically significant difference. These findings demonstrate that SAC is a feasible digital learning tool that supports the transformation of IPAS instruction in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. However, this study is limited by its small subject size and geographical scope. Future research is suggested to involve larger samples, more robust experimental designs, and testing on different IPAS topics.
