<![CDATA[Abstract: The designing Vocational School of Marine and Fisheries in Pacitan caused by the huge potential of marine resources and fisheries in Pacitan is not directly proportional to the welfare of the marine industry and fishing communities. The existence of educational facilities -based local potential is needed to improve the quality of human resources in the region, especially in the field of marine and fisheries. The purpose of this concept is to get a building design that is able to facilitate the activities of vocational education in the field of marine and fishery as environmentally friendly school. A good relationship between man and nature will be presented in terms of physical buildings through Ecological Architecture approach and then, building design can be able to synergize with the existing natural environment and causing minimal damage to the environment. Design issues are : How is the Concept of Planning and Design Marine and Fisheries’s Vocational School in Pacitan with Ecological Architecture approach . The method used is the method of architectural design . The result is the design of a marine and fisheries‘s vocational high school in Pacitan using Ecological Architecture approach in design .
