<![CDATA[Abstract: As an agricultural country, Indonesia has natural resource and biodiversity are very diverse. Indonesian agricultural commodities with the diversity and uniqueness of high value and is reinforced by a very diverse cultural richness has strong appeal as agro tourism. Glagah coast of Kulon Progo Regency is one of the beaches in Java to develop agriculture-based tourism (ecotourism) in the coastal region with the main commodities dragon fruit has a high tourist interest. The development is based agro Glagah of tourist potentials possessed by an object Glagah as agrotourism. The purpose of this design is to design a recreational tourist area by considering the nature conservation around the location of development and tourist potentials possessed by Glagah. Design issue is: how to design an agro-tourism area which give recreative atmosphere for visitors with consideration of ecological architecture as a design approach that is used. The result is an attractive design agrotourism area and create a recreative atmosphere for visitors with consideration of ecological architecture as a design approach in use.
