This research entitled "Effectiveness of Using Macromedia Flash in Learning Mathematics Grade Students XI IPS MAN 1 Lubuklinggau Academic Year of 2012/2013". The problems ofthis research are: (1) whether the learning outcomes of students of class XI IPS MAN 1 Lubuklinggau academic year of 2012/2013 after participating in learning mathematics using Macromedia Flash completed? (2) how the response of students to wards learning mathematics using Macromedia Flash? (3) how the learning activities of students who take mathematics using Macromedia Flash? The research used a form of quasi-experiment conducted in the absence of a comparison class design withpre-test and post-test group. Its population is all students of class XI IPS MAN 1 Lubuklinggau academic Year of 2012/2013, which consists of 106 students and a sample is class XI IPS 3, amounting to 34 students. Data collection was done by using tests and non-test in the form of questionnaires and observation. Test data were analyzed using t-test at significance level α=0.05. Based on the data analysis it can be concluded that the Macromedia Flash effective for use in teaching mathematics. Student learning outcomes after participating in learning mathematics using Macromedia Flash significantly due to an average value of 80.98 and the number of students who completed reaches 79.41%.
