KONSEP KEPEMIMPINAN POLITIK DALAM ISLAM PERSPEKTIF MUHAMMAD SYAHRUR

Abstrak Artikel ini merupakan hasil kajian kepustakaan untuk menjawab pertanyaan: Bagaimana pemikiran Muhammad Shahrur tentang kepemimpinan politik dalam Islam yang meliputi bentuk kepemimpinan, syarat seorang pemimpin dan prosedur pemilihan pemimpin. Data kajian ini dihimpun melalui pembacaan dan kajian teks (teks reading) dan selanjutnya dianalisis dengan pendekatan filsafat politik, metode deskriptif, dan content analysis. Hasil kajian menyimpulkan dalam pemikiran Shahrur, bentuk kepemimpinan adalah demokratis, syarat pemimpin adalah orang yang mempunyai kelebihan dari orang lain, mempunyai kekayaan dan tidak keluar dari kasih sayang dan prosedur pemilihan pemimpin dilaksanakan dengan pemilihan umum sistem perwakilan. Shahrur mengungkapkan adanya konsep negara-bangsa, bentuk kepemimpinan (kepemimpinan yang harus dihindari: tirani dan diktator, di bidang politik, kekayaan dan agama), adanya partai politik, adanya oposisi serta prosedur pemilihan pemimpin yaitu pemilihan umum dengan perwakilan. Disisi lain, Shahrur tidak menjelaskan secara detail tentang syarat pemimpin yang harus mempunyai kekayaan dan tidak menjelaskan adanya proses konvensi nasional. Abstract This article is the result of literature studies to answer the questions: How Muhammad Shahrur thinking about political leadership in the form of Islam which include leadership, requirements and procedures for the selection of a leaders. Data of this study were collected through reading and study of the text and then analyzed with the approach of political philosophy, descriptive method, and content analysis. The study results concluded in Shahrur thought, democratic form of leadership is, the requirement is a leader who has the advantage of others, have wealth and not out of compassion and leadership selection procedures implemented by the system of representation elections. Shahrur revealed the presence of the concept of nation-states, a form of leadership (leadership that must be avoided: tyranny and dictatorship, in the fields of politics, wealth and religion), a political party, the opposition leader and election procedures with representatives of the general election. On the other hand, Shahrur not explain in detail about the requirement that leaders must have the resources and do not explain the existence of national convention process Keyword: dictator, tirani, politics, leadership.
