<![CDATA[AbstrakMemberdayakan masyarakat dalam peran serta pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan. Pertolonganpertama merupakan penentu dari pelayanan kesehatan selanjutnya. Pertolongan pertama yang tepat danbenar akan mengurangi resiko terjadinya kecacatan atau bahkan kematian.Design pemberdayaanmasyarakat ini adalah quasy experimental dengan pendekatan one group pre-post test design . Respondenintervensi berjumlah 25 orang yang diambil dengan tehnik pruposive sampling. Hasil dari T-testdidapatkan hasil adanya pengaruh pemberian edukasi tentang pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaanantara sebelum diberikan perlakuan dengan setelah diberikan perlakuan, dengan p-value: 0.000.Pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam peran serta memberikan pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan sangatpenting. Karena orang pertama yang menemukan korban kecelakaan bukanlah petugas kesehatan,melainkan masyarakat yang berada disekitar kejadian tersebut.Kata kunci: Pemberdayaan, Masyarkat, KecelakaanAbstractEmpower the community in the role of first aid in accidents.
