<![CDATA[ABSTRAKSebagai mahluk sosial, manusia membutuhkan interaksi dengan manusia lain. Pola intekasi sosial yangterbangun melalui beberapa faktor seperti kerjasama, asmiliasi, akomodasi dan akulturasi. Dengan melihatkonteks tersebut, paguyuban adalah bagian dari komponen terpenting dalam membangun relasi sosial. Baikburuknya relasi sosial tergantung dari pola interaksi yang terbangun. Di kota Gorontalo, aspek pendidikanmengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat, sehingga kota Gorontalo menjadi alternatif bagi daerah lainuntuk melanjutkan studi. Dengan keberadaan warga yang berasal dari daerah-daerah lain tersebut telahmembentuk tatanan sosial baru dalam bentuk kelompok paguyuban. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuibagaimana interaksi sosial antar paguyuban di kota Gorontalo. Interaksi sosial antar paguyuban berjalandengan baik, faktor pembentukan interaksi sosial yang terbangun melalui kerjasama antar paguyuban,terjadinya proses asimiliasi dan akulturasi antar budaya. Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalahsebagai salah satu sumber atau hasanah keilmuan yang pada khususnya adalah melihat realitas interaksi sosialantara kelompok paguyuban khususnya di Kota Gorontalo.Kata Kunci : Interaksi Sosial, Paguyuban, Kota GorontaloABSTRACTAs social beings, humans need interaction with other humans.
