PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF THINK  PAIR SHARE PADA MATA KULIAH BIOKIMIA MELALUI  LESSON  STUDY

Abstract

Abstrak: Sesuai kompetensi dasar pada materi sintesis protein, maka dibutuhkan suatu metode dan cara untuk mencapainya, sehingga mahasiswa dapat memahami konsep tentang sintesis protein. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah pembelajaran  kooperatif tipe think pair share yang dapat dikemas melalui lesson study sebagai suatu model pembinaan profesi pendidikan melalui pengkajian pembelajaran secara kolaboratif dan berkelanjutan serta berlandaskan prinsip-prinsip kolegalitas  serta mutual learning  untuk membangun komunitas belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kegiatan Mahasiswa (LKM) pada mata kuliah biokimia materi sintesis protein; untuk memudahkan pemahaman konsep dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif  think pair share. Penelitian terdiri dari beberapa tahap sesuai dengan tahapan pada lesson study, yaitu tahap plan (persiapan pembelajaran), Do (pelaksanaan pembelajaran), See (analisis hasil pelaksanaan dan refleksi). Dari hasil penelitian dengan kemasan  Lesson study pada mata kuliah biokimia materi sintesis protein RPP 1 dan LKM 1 serta RPP 2 dan LKM 2 layak untuk digunakan dengan tingkat keterlaksanaan 100%, Penyampaian materi pembelajaran dengan kooperatif tipe think pair share melalui lesson study membuat mahasiswa aktif dan mudah memahami materi yang diberikan serta kualitas mengajar dosen meningkat dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share melalui lesson study   Kata kunci : Think Pair Share, Lesson Study,  LKM, Sintesis Protein   Abstract: According to basic competency on the protein  synthesis concept, is  needed a method and strategi  to achieve it, so students can understand the concept of protein synthesis. One model of learning that can be used is cooperative learning, with think pair share type, wich  can be packaged through lesson study. Lesson study as a model of professional development education through collaborative learning and assessment of ongoing and based on the principles of collegiality and mutual learning to build a learning community. The purpose of this study to develop the Student Work Sheet on the biochemistry subject, especially  protein synthesis topic; to make  understanding of the concept easier by using cooperative model  think pair share type. The study consists of several stages according to the stages of the lesson study, the stages are Plan (preparation of learning), Do (the implementation of learning), See (analysis of the results of the implementation and reflection). From the research by packaging Lesson study in biochemistry course topic protein synthesis,  and Lesson Plan 1 and worksheet 1 as well as lesson plan 2 and worksheet 2 are feasible for use with the conducting 100%, delivery of learning materials with a cooperative type of think pair share through lesson study to make students active and easily understand the material provided and the quality of teaching increased by applying a type of cooperative learning think pair share through lesson study.   Keywords:  Think Pair Share, Lesson Study,  worksheet,  protein synthesis
