DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT WORKSHEET WITH MIND MAPPING ORIENTED FOR HIGH SCHOOL GRADE XI AT ACID AND BASE TOPIC

Abstract

Abstrak: Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan Lembar Kerja Siswa kimia berorientasikan mind mapping untuk SMA kelas XI pada materi asam dan basa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian R&D (Research and Development) dan menggunakan desain instruksional model pengembangan 4-D model (define, design, develop, disseminate) tetapi hanya terbatas pada tahap develop. Penilaian Lembar Kerja Siswa berdasarkan kriteria kelayakan yang dikembangkan oleh Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP) meliputi kelayakan materi, penyajian, bahasa dan kelayakan penilaian mind mapping. Lembar Kerja Siswa yang dikembangkan dinilai oleh 3 dosen kimia dan 2 guru kimia SMA sebagai ahli materi serta diujicobakan secara  terbatas pada 12 siswa kelas XI IPA2 SMA Al-Falah Surabaya. Lembar Kerja Siswa dikatakan layak jika masing-masing kriteria memiliki presentase penilaian ≥61% dan memperoleh presentase respon positif siswa ≥61%. Penilaian ahli materi terhadap Lembar Kerja Siswa yang dikembangkan pada kriteria materi memperoleh kategori sangat layak sebesar 82,68%, kriteria kebahasaan diperoleh kategori sangat layak sebesar 83,75%, kriteria penyajian diperoleh kategori sangat layak sebesar 84,01%, dan penilaian mind mapping diperoleh kategori sangat layak sebesar 86,33%. Dari hasil uji coba terbatas pada 12 siswa SMA Al-Falah Surabaya kelas XI IPA2 diperoleh respon positif siswa yang menunjukkan bahwa Lembar Kerja Siswa yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan dalam semua aspek. Kata kunci: Lembar Kerja Siswa, Mind Mapping, Asam dan Basa, R&D (Research and Development) Abstract: It has been studied, with the purpose was to determine the feasibility of chemistry Student Worksheet with mind mappingoriented  in SMA grade XI at acid and base topic. This research is R & D (Researh and Development) design and development using instructional design 4-D model (define, design, develop, disseminate), but the study was confined to the stage of develop. Student Assessment Worksheet is based on eligibility criteria developed by the Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP) which includes the feasibility of material, presentation, assessment of language and Mind mapping. Student Worksheet developed was assessed by 3 chemistry lecturer and 2 high school chemistry teacher as expert limited trial  to 12 students in class XI IPA2 SMA Al-Falah Surabaya. Student Worksheet is feasible if each criterion has a percentage rating ≥ 61% and the percentage of positive responses students obtain ≥ 61%. Assessment of material experts on Student Works  sheet developed on the criteria of material gain is well worth the category of 82.68%, acquired linguistic criteria categories are very worthy of 83.75%, the criteria derived category of very decent presentation of 84.01%, and the assessment of mind mapping derived category of very worthy of 86.33%. From the try out  is limited to 12 students SMA Al-Falah Surabaya IPA2 XI class students who obtained a positive response indicates that Student Worksheet developed has met the eligibility criteria in all aspects.
