Abstrak: Penelitian deskriptif ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan perilaku siswa ketika melakukan eksperimen pada pembelajaran fisika. Subjek penelitian ini ialah siswa MAN Tlogo Blitar kelas X semester genap tahun pelajaran 2009/2010 sebanyak 80 orang. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara kepada siswa mengenai metode eksperimen yang telah dilakukan pada pembelajaran fisika. Analisis data secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Beberapa temuan lapangan siswa MAN Tlogo Blitar dalam melaksanakan eksperimen pada pembelajaran fisika; (1) bersikap kritis 69%, (2) bersikap tabah dan ulet 73,2%, (3) sangat menghargai waktu 60%, dan (4) melatih sifat sadar lingkungan 77,5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan hal-hal sebagai berikut; (1) perbaikan fasilitas yang berhubungan dengan pelajaran fisika, (2) pemberian penghargaan dan motivasi pada siswa, (3) penyusunan jadwal praktikum di laboratorium dan (4) pembagian tugas piket untuk menjaga kebersihan laboratorium.

Abstract: The aims of this research to describe the students behavior when they doing experiments in learning physics process. The subject of this research are students in MAN Tlogo Blitar at grade x year 2009/2010 they are 80 students. Instrument and technique for collect the data use questionnaires and interviews to students about the experimental method that has been done on the learning of teaching physics process. Descriptive analysis of quantitative data. Some of data discovery in MAN Tlogo Blitar are students in conducting experiments in physics learning; (1) critical attitude of 69%, (2) be persistent and tenacious 73,2% (3) greatly appreciate the time 60%, and (4) train the environmentally awareness training 77,5%. Based on the results of the study, suggested the following matters; (1) improvement of facilities related to physics, (2) reward and motivation to students, (3) palnning of experiment schedules in the laboratory and (4) division task to keep laboratory cleanly.
