Analisa Kapasitas Produksi dalam Mengantisipasi Kenaikan Jumlah Permintaan di PT. Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk. Pabrik Tuban

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk
meramalkan permintaan
semen dan membandingkan apakah kapasitas yang tersedia di perusahaan bisa
memenuhi kapasitas yang diperlukan di PT. Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk. Pabrik
Tuban, berapa tambahan kapasitas yang diperlukan dan berapa tambahan mesin
untuk mengantisipasi permintaan. Metode
penelitian yang digunakan adalah 
diskriptif kuantitatif.Variabel
penelitiannya adalah peramalan permintaan semen, kapasitas tersedia dan
kapasitas yang diperlukan.Pengambilan data menggunakan metode observasi dan
studi pustaka. Hasil
yang dicapai: peramalan permintaan semen tahun 2006-2010 sebesar 6.530.641 ton,
6.873.941 ton, 7.235.288 ton, 7.615.629 ton, dan 7.986.280 ton, tambahan
kapasityas yang diperlukan  pada tahun
2010, Mesin Limestone Crusher,  sebesar 47,77 jam, Mesin Clay Crusher 1.671,43 jam, Mesin Raw mill 2.315,38 jam; jumlah mesin yang harus ditambah : Limestone Crusher  1 unit tahun 2009; mesin Clay Crusher 1 unit ditambah tahun 2006 dan 1 unit lagi ditambah
tahun 2009, sedangkan mesin  Raw mill  ditambah satu unit tahun 2008.

The
Objectives of this research are to forecast cement production demand, to make
comparison between the available production capacity and the demand capacity at
PT. Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk. Tuban Factory, and to calculate how many
additions of production capacity and the number of machine which are needed to
anticipate increasing demand. The
used methodology in this research is quantitave
description method. The variables of research are cement production forecast
demand, available capacity and the production capacity which is needed.  Observation method and literature study is
used to collect the data.The obtain results are the forecasting of cement
production demand at 2006 until 2010 about 6,530,641 ton, 6,873,941 ton,
7,235,288 ton, 7,615,629 ton, and 7,986,280 ton respectively. The additions of
production capacity at 2010 are Limestone Crusher machine about 47.77 hours,
Clay Crusher machine about 1,671.43 hours, and Raw mill machine about 2.315,38
hours. The additional numbers of machines are one unit of Limestone Crusher at
2009; one unit of Clay Crusher at 2006 and one more unit at 2009,  Raw mill machine is added one unit at 2008.
