Abstract

Diah Putri Lestari1, Triyono2, Joharman3 Universitas Sebelas Maret, Jln Kepodang 67A Telp (0287)381169 Kebumen diahputri433@yahoo.co.id ABSTRACT The purposes of research are: (1) describe the study difficulty by student in stacked addition whith the technique of saving, (2) describe the way of having evercome each kind of the study difficulty of addition operation with the technique of saving. This research is classroom action research (CAR). The subject is the student of the first grade of State elementary School 3 Panjer. The technique of data collecting observation, interview, and test. The result of research the study difficulity which has not understood symbol mathematics the comprehension of place value, the use of wrong process, calculation and has not been fluent in language and reading. The way of having overcome is using concrete media and enough exercise in doing saving technique addition. Conclusion is hasn?t understood the symbol mathematics, the comprehension of place value, the use of wrong process, calculation and has not been fluent in language and reading.   ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian: (1) mendeskripsikan kesulitan belajar siswa pada penjumlahan bersusun dengan teknik menyimpan, (2) mendeskripsikan cara mengatasi setiap jenis kesulitan belajar operasi penjumlahan dengan teknik menyimpan. Penelitian merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek siswa kelas I SDN 3 Panjer. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Hasil penelitian belum memahami simbol matematika, pemahaman nilai tempat, penggunaan proses keliru, perhitungan dan belum lancar dalam bahasa dan membaca. Cara mengatasinya menggunakan media konkret dan latihan cukup dalam melakukan penjumlahan teknik menyimpan. Simpulan penelitian belum memahami simbol dalam matematika, pemahaman nilai tempat, penggunaan proses keliru, perhitungan, dan belum lancar dalam bahasa dan membaca.     Kata kunci: kesulitan belajar, penjumlahan, teknik menyimpan.
